I am not a big burger person but my husband speaks so highly of Archies burgers. We stopped in for a quick bite, burger, onion rings, and fries. Everyone was so friendly and helped us making a decision, you order up at the bar, which makes service simple.
Served in a classic basket and cup, and quick, everything was great! There is pretty limited seating but we were able to find a spot. We didn’t stick around for too long, but made sure we stopped at scratch ice cream next door for dessert!

Hands down, this is the best burger in Milwaukee. Honestly, it may be the best burger I’ve found anywhere, with the possible exception of Mac’s in St. Louis. I didn’t believe it would be a true smash burger when they said the patties are 1/3 pound, but they’re so large (radius) that they still manage to produce insanely crispy, buttery edges all the way around. The prices are *ludicrously* reasonable for burgers of this size and quality—just $12 for the double Archie. The fries were hot and tasty and the pickles (I’m assuming house made) are A+.

As far as smash burgers go, this might be tops in the city. They have a great crisp texture on the edges of the burger. The sauce and flavor is on point.
The fries are solid too. Crinkle cut and salty.
They have a hard cut off on the time you can order before they close, so make sure you get there earlier than you think you need to be!

Went to Archie’s on a Saturday night about 5:30 and it was busy but you could still find a seat or a table. It’s like a diner atmosphere but they do have tvs, it was busy but it’s a fun atmosphere. You order at the counter, no table service so it’s pretty fast and efficient. The food came out in less than 15 minutes or so. Good beer selection the only thing was that my order was wrong and received the basic smashburger instead of the more deluxe Archie’s which I ordered. The burger was delicious either way. My advice would be to get the fries or the onion rings and one order is enough to share between two people. The price was fair given the delicious food. I like this place, it’d be a good fast date night, i will definitely be back.

Man. After seeing the menu and all the great reviews, I had to come try this joint out. I was hungry and came with a full on appetite.. But before I get into the food, the place is pure nostalgia, really old school vibes, ( if only the prices could be really old school ) but the prices are very decent and the portions as u can see in the pictures are hefty. They also are apart of the I e cream joint next store. So get a burger and fries and cream on next door. This place was bliss to the next level. My new favorite burger spot in West Allis now.. I ordered 2 burgers, fries, onion rings and the bomber. Omg. These items were all very very good. I’ll definitely be back

This place reminded me of an old school diner. The service was great & so was the food. The burgers are big. I could have shared mine with someone lol. I also love that they put the pickles on the side and not on the burger. The garlic aioli took the burger to the top for sure. It was already food but the aioli made it e a greater!!! I also tried the polish dog and it was just as good!! If you have tried this place you should. Oh and we have to try the ice shop next door next time.

Ate at Archie’s over the lunch hour. We ordered a smash burger, chicken sandwich and split an order of fries. The smash burger was one of the better ones we’ve had. The chicken sandwich was also very good. Archie’s also had an ice cream counter so we had some of the ice cream.
The place was very clean, service was excellent and we will go back.

Ordered the Archie Burger with crinkle cut fries. Burger lived up to its name being a smash burger. Taste was good, portion was generous. Fries were average, like the frozen kind you make at home. Free refills on soda.
There is also an Ice Cream counter, “Scratch” with tasty ice cream for dessert. Not a lot of different flavors, but enough.
Bathroom was small, clean.
Decor is of a 50’s diner but definitely not overdone. Didn’t even play 50’s music.
Overall, it was good but nothing exciting. Would I eat here again? Sure. Would I crave a meal from here? Not necessarily.
