We came to Arcadia Restaurant for lunch. I booked through Google and we were seated quickly. We weren’t very hungry, so we only ordered a few dishes. The calamari was good, and the moussaka was nicely done with soft aubergines, we also like the salad dressing very much. The anchovies were extremely salty and sour — probably how they’re meant to be, but not to our taste.
Service was fine overall, and the manager’s appearance reminded us a bit of Chris Pratt.
The part I wasn’t happy with was the payment experience. When I was given the card machine (not by the manager), the preset service charge options were 15%, 20%, and 25%. The machine was set to Greek, so I couldn’t read the options or choose a different amount, and the staff member told me it was something I “needed” to pay. Out of all the restaurants we’ve visited in Greece, this is the only one that has done this. Even places charging €40 per dish didn’t add anything automatically or pressure us. Because of that, I’m giving this restaurant 3 stars.

Came here for an enjoyable lunch. The food is very fresh and a huge variety. Lots of great salads. Really enjoyed my Arcadia salad very citrus oriented and strong flavours. Calamari was great. Enjoyed the soup of the day and excellent humous. Service was friendly. In the heart of Plaka so lots to watch. Would def recommend would def return. Thankyou for the complimentary yoghurt

Food: The food my group got was verified and some was definitely better than others. Over all, I would give the food a 4 stars because each had its own charm, even if it might not have satisfied my own taste buds. Over all, I loved most of the food.
Service: 5 out of 5 stars! I loved the service from the waiters. They were all smiling and very happy to comply with our requests. They answered our questions as well, which is another plus.
Atmosphere: another 5 out of 5 stars!!! The music was quite loud, but everything else was incredible. The decorations, the tables, the plates, everything else was a wonderful experience! The color palette was great to look at and complimented everything around us.
Total: 4.5 Stars!

A gem in central Athens and it’s gluten free! The food was delicious. I had a Gyro and GF beer and let me tell you I don’t get to have a good GF meal very often that seems like a normal meal, but this was superb! My wife enjoyed the meatballs on a bed of creamy potatoes. They even provided a complimentary sweet for dessert. Service was great, atmosphere was right on and next to the Acropolis Museum. Go try this place if you’re in Athens!

Gluten free menu. Heaven for celiacs. Place is busy so it needs reservation. They have greek dishes, gf beer and other drinks. Location is perfect, exactly next to acropol metro and museum. Next to it is another 100% gf place “greek stories”. Both were amazing.

Arcadia does it right. We are gluten free and we came here a few years ago on our trip and it was 10/10 and we just returned to Athens and ended up going 3 times! It’s just that good.
The whole menu is gluten free featuring pita, moussaka, baklava, and more. In the many times we’ve eaten here, we haven’t had a weak dish.
We’ve brought our non gluten free friends here and they’ve loved it and asked to return. Love the location as well! And attentive service. We will definitely return again and again!!!

it was the best dinner we had during our 4 days trip to athens. i wish we had found this place before. their mixed seafood menu for 2 people comes in a huge portion. it is even enough for 3-4 people. it included muscles, shrimps, sea bass, calamari, and salads. loved everything. ps it had a donkey statue which was very cute.

Fabulous dinner spot, has a really great vibe both indoors and outdoors. Friendly staff and delicious food. Must try the traditional Moussaka. Have been coming for many years (since 2012!) it has changed a lot but the quality has stayed the same.

Lovely little find next to the acropolis. A couple of vegan options on the menu – mousaka and a spaghetti dish, and they were accommodating in adjusting starters to suit also. I had the chickpea falafels and vegan mousaka and my wife had the fried cheese and lamb stew. Everything on their menu is gluten-free! Definitely well worth a visit.
