Do not get the brisket sandwich, I do not know if the pulled pork is any better but I cannot imagine it is. The flavor is okay, mid at best. If you use the sauce on it there is no more meat flavor. The heaviest thing in my bag was the sauce, the burger was the most depressing pitiful sandwich I have ever had the displeasure of spending $9 on.

Honestly the service is good. The person checking us out didn’t know how to use a gift card, but was able to get help fairly quickly. The atmosphere was good, the workers seemed to be in a good mood. However, the food was terrible. I wasn’t even sure there was meat on the sandwich there was so little in it.

When first walking in the store here in madras was cold. Staff was not very friendly and a bit rude. Had a ton of staff running around and chasing each other where they prepare the food, and then almost the entire staff went outside “ on break” and have been gone 20 mins. Haven’t seen a staff member wash their hands either. The floors need to be swept which I understand they get busy, some of the staff should have stayed in and cleaned up while one or two went on break and then rotated. Also our sandwiches had very little meat to them picture down below as proof.

After the lady cashed me out with a set of gloves on she was grabbing all kinds or things then went and delivered food to a waiting car while putting her hands on the door, still gloved then came and with the same gloves picked up my potato cakes with the gloves, no tongs. . Just because you are wearing gloves does NOT mean you are being sanitary! Change your gloves when handling things and other than food!

In 1949, New Castle, Pennsylvania natives Forrest Raffel and his younger brother, Leroy Raffel, bought a restaurant equipment company based in Youngstown, Ohio from their uncle. ), and renamed it Raffel Brothers, Inc. By the early 1960s, the company had grown into a leading food service consulting company. Designing and building restaurants and analyzing the fast food market, the Raffel brothers came to the conclusion that there was an unoccupied niche for a chain of fast food restaurants based on dishes other than hamburgers. They decided that their future was to create such a network. In their opinion, the roast beef sandwich was ideal for the main course of the new restaurant chain. The Raffel brothers originally wanted to name their restaurants Big Tex, but that name was already taken. Then they came up with the name Arby’s, which comes from the first letters of the phrase “Raffel Brothers” (eng. Raffel Brothers – RB – Arby’s).
On July 23, 1964, the Ruffel brothers opened their first restaurant, Arby’s, in Boardman, Ohio, near Youngstown. The building, in the style of a classic American field kitchen, the restaurant’s giant hat sign, and the interior design, which used natural wood and stone, was reminiscent of the Old West and looked “more expensive” than a typical fast food restaurant of those years. Initially, the menu was presented only with roast beef sandwiches, French fries and iced tea. Sandwiches sold for 69 cents, more than three times the price of McDonald’s hamburgers, for example, but the Ruffel brothers believed their high quality food and expensive interiors would attract wealthy customers. Their expectations were met, and a year later the first franchise restaurant was opened in Akron (Ohio). The success of Arby’s prompted other fast food chains to also start targeting wealthier customers – Burger King and McDonald’s, for example, expanded their menus (introducing more expensive dishes) and began working on improving the interiors of their restaurants.
In 1976, the Ruffel family sold Arby’s to the Royal Crown Cola Company (headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia). In 1981, the first Arby’s restaurant outside the United States was opened in Tokyo.

Arby’s has a great selection of different options. I love the mozzarella sticks especially when traveling. This location was super clean and the staff is very attentive and customer friendly which is refreshing! There’s a lack of Arby’s in my area so I take advantage of it! I love their smokehouse brisket as well, huge selection of different chicken sandwiches and you can always customize your order.
This is connected to a loves gas station so it’s make it easier to fill up, use the restroom and get great food! Highly recommend when you are in the area.
