I recently stopped by the Arby’s on Appleway Ave for lunch, and the experience was elevated entirely by an employee named Javin.
From the moment we arrived, Javin went above and beyond by personally extending a warm welcome and holding the door open for us. That level of hospitality is rare these days and set a fantastic tone for the rest of our meal.
When it came time to order, Javin was incredibly helpful. He handled our request with impressive attention to detail, even taking the time to point out special offers and combinations that saved us money. It’s clear he genuinely cares about the customer’s experience rather than just “processing” an order.
Throughout our visit, Javin maintained the perfect balance of being attentive without being intrusive. We wanted for nothing. What stood out most, however, was his proactive kindness; I watched him assist other guests with mobility issues by carrying their orders to their tables.
Javin is exactly the kind of individual asset every business needs. In a world where great customer service can be hard to find, he brings all the right qualities to the table. If you’re stopping by this location, I hope you’re lucky enough to be served by him!
I was using the urinal in the men’s restroom. An employee finished pooping, wiped, flushed, grabbed a paper towel on the way out the door and that was it.
I went to the counter when I was done and let the lady there know. She didn’t seem to care, so I said it was needing to be addressed, and she started trying to make excuses, saying that maybe I just didn’t hear the water, ir it shut off fast. NO… the guy literally did not wash anything. I could see him on the food line behind her already working, so it’s unlikely he washed when he got back to the kitchen either.
Absolutely disgusting, and the fact the other employee did not care about it disgusts me further.
I was looking forward to Arby’s sonce I have not been there in a few years, but now I don’t know that I will be back of there is a general disregard for food health and safety in this company where nobody cares that an employee took a poop, wipes his butt and went right back to work without cleaning anything.
Waited 8 minutes. Nobody ever said a word. Wouldn’t answer hellos, or anything. We were very patient, but ended up driving away.
I’d avoid this place – it reeks of a restaurant with severe staffing issues. If they can’t even acknowledge customers with a “one minute please” you DON’T want to eat here.
