Love visiting our local Arby’s in Lumberton. Went in with husband and granddaughter. I ordered the Meat & 3, husband ordered a large combo and we ordered a 2 piece chicken strip kid’s meal. Everything was good except for the chicken strips. They were hard and mostly burnt a very dark brown. Husband went back to counter and asked if they could please replace them because they could not be eaten. Girl at counter said, ‘Sorry, no. We are not aloud to regulate them. That’s the way they come out. But they are hard and burnt. Sorry, I can’t.” So we threw them away and gave her some of our food.

Got the chicken tenders 5 pc meal parts of the chicken was pink not much though. One or more workers weren’t wearing hats uncovered hair. They didn’t get my order right and were kinda clumsy. Got the jamocha shake wasn’t all that bad didn’t taste wrong or anything. Christmas decor left a more comfortable feeling.

I don’t normally take the time to write reviews, but I have to give credit where it’s due. At the Arby’s in Lumberton, Emily at the drive-through was absolutely exceptional. Too often, drive-through workers get a bad rap — people expect rushed voices, monotone service, or mistakes. But Emily completely flipped that stereotype upside down.
From the very first “hello” to the moment she handed me my order, her tone of voice, positivity, and upbeat energy made the whole experience stand out. She didn’t just take my order; she made me feel like a valued customer. Every part of the process was smooth, clear, and professional — but at the same time, warm and welcoming. That’s rare in fast food.
It’s not an easy job, especially in today’s world, but Emily handled it like a pro and made it seem effortless. She’s the kind of person who makes you want to come back, not just for the food, but for the service. Arby’s in Lumberton is lucky to have her, and I can’t recommend this location enough.

When I pulled up the lady working said “hey I have employees walking through here taking out the trash” insinuating I was going too fast. I know for a fact I wasn’t , there were no cars infront of me but I wasn’t flying in. She said “well next time you come here you need to slow down” Told her to cancel the order. Horrible customer service she attacked me for no reason and continued on with it.
