I set in the drive thru for 5 minutes, no one ever came on the intercom so I went inside. Horrible service at the counter no one seemed to be in any rush to help anyone, eventually a random lady comes from the back and takes my order and I tell her about my unpleasant experience and she said ok I will have a talk with them then immediately went on break and walked out of the store. If she was the manager I would say she’s the root of the problem. Horrible atmosphere, horrible attitude from employees, we won’t be back.

They were not open at 6am. The truck stop ran out of straws. I asked nicely for a straw to a lady that was working and she was so rude with her reaponse.. she had to give me 3 reasons why she wasn’t going to give me a straw. She handled the situation very poorly and Their was a group of people behind me gasp and couldn’t believe how much of a Grinch/scrooge she was acting like. As a frequent customer of this truck stop, I will never, ever! Ever and ever eat at that location ever again and im sure more business was lost by the other folks that listened. All im asking is for people to just be kind and humble during the holidays and something as simple as giving a straw to someone for their drink… have a blessed holiday and be NICE!!

Let me premise this by saying the service I received today was not typical of this location. The food quality is usually decent and the service has always been great until today… I can only assume that Heath the shift manager is trying to get fired. It’s either that or he is absolutely horrible at customer service in which case he should be fired. I admit I wasn’t in the best mood, in fact I was hangry and was hoping to cure that with a meal. I saw something new on the drive thru menu and inquired “What is a loaded Italian?” The answer that Heath gave me was “Exactly what it looks like….” Followed by silence. Now it looked like it could have been ham or turkey with either pepperoni or salami, it claimed to loaded so any combination of those was possible. A simple description would be the very least amount of customer service expected when asking such a question. That was entirely too much to ask of Heath. In fact, even when I decided to go inside and try again (admittedly aggrivated) he not only didn’t apologize but he still wouldn’t describe it and he doubled down on the rude factor by saying he didn’t think he needed to explain anything and blaming me for asking the question wrong? I’m sorry, I didn’t realize I was on Jeopardy. He then stated he wasn’t going to stand there and get lectured, turned his back and walked away.

Everyone has a bad day now and then and I know he was in a hurry to go drain his bladder. Maybe that justifies acting like a smart alec. Maybe that explains treating a customer as if they are stupid for not knowing your new menu. Or maybe Heath should seek a new line of work that he would be more suited for like the postal service or DMV maybe?

Don’t bother stopping here employees aren’t looking to take your order. Too busy talking, when they decide to do their job they act offended by you calling them out for it. **UPDATE**As of 1/9/26 I can say a lot better customer service at least for the morning shift. Will stop by again.

Showed up at 11:29pm, they close at midnight and already turned all their fryers off so I couldn’t order any food. If you close at midnight, then that’s the correct time to turn the fryers off. The guy was extremely rude about it as well
