Walked in expecting to get cooled off & the air conditioning wasn’t working. The person working the counter told another customer that the air hasn’t worked all summer. So it was a hot dining experience filled with flies. Order a double beef and cheddar and it was the size a classic and my husband ordered a half pound and it was the size of a double. No care put into making the meal. To top it off the bathroom was disgusting and had an awful stench. Almost smelled like a refrigerator that hasn’t been running. Service wasn’t horrible but you could definitely tell they weren’t excited to be there.

I’m accustomed to getting great food at Arby’s. That was NOT MY Experience today at the Effingham Illinois Arby’s restaurant. I ordered a Reuben sandwich though the drive through on December 20 between 8:00 PM and 9:00PM. When I left the restaurant and got to my hotel I discovered that the Reuben sandwich contained less than half of the typical amount of corned beef of an Arby’s Reuben sandwich, there was essentially no sauerkraut, and the cheese looked unlike anything I’ve seen on an Arby’s Reuben sandwich. The bread was decent, but soaked in sauce. Since I didn’t care to take the time to leave my hotel and return the not-so-hot mess of a sandwich I ate the thing and literally swallowed my losses. Arby’s corporate, please audit this franchise location for adherence to your otherwise high product standards. This was an unacceptable experience.

Extremely hot inside at least 80-90 degrees, very unpleasant service also. I get it you make little $ per hour, but you chose to do this type of work. Arby’s in Ky is much better.

I feel the customer service was very rude today by Cassie….it was uncalled for , not to mention she wouldn’t listen to what I was telling her I wanted, she gave me wrong order and charged me for a third meal, I went up and asked her about it and the other lady was great on fixing it. But while I sit down n eat I don’t appreciate the nasty looks and attitude . Won’t be coming here neither will my husband .

AWFUL. I never leave reviews- took 15 + minutes in the drive thru. Didn’t give us any sauces or mozzarella sticks. Everything was cold. Like why wait if its going to be all around awful.

Placed an order online and when I got there I was told they didn’t have what I ordered (gyro). The guy at the window made it right, however I normally wouldn’t leave a review for that. It was how polite and kind the employees were that made me want to leave a review. I ended up getting a cheesesteak that was fabulous and the amount of meat was generous compared to most places. It is the second one I’ve had and both were great! I don’t know if it’s because we’re in the middle of the country but both where I’m from and where I’m going they are not nice and pleasant people like this spot. Thanks guys!!!

Went through the drive through after a long day of traveling. I realized after I ordered I pulled in a few minutes before close. I felt awful and told the kind gentleman at the window I was sorry, and asked if it was easier for me to order something else since they were about to close. He was very kind and reassured me I was fine. They were quick and my food was great. 5 stars for great service!
