00 and they are no where worth that for the chicken is small and end hard as a rock so scratch Arby’s for breakfast any how they could do much better
Enter: Karen. Mid-50s. Frosted hair. Sunglasses indoors. Sporting a yoga outfit so tight it was spiritually aggressive. She was in line ahead of me, and apparently the concept of “waiting” didn’t apply to people whose husbands own a boat.
She ordered half the menu and then—then—had the gall to look at the cashier and say, “Oh, and he can wait. I was here first.”
No. No, I wasn’t.
I cleared my throat in a polite-but-I’m-not-playing way. “Ma’am, I just want two chicken wraps.”
She pivoted like a Bond villain. “Excuse me?”
I locked eyes. “Two. Chicken. Wraps. That’s it. You ordered six beef-and-cheddars, a Jamocha shake, and a diet Dr. Pepper. I will perish in line if you keep going.”
The cashier, bless their soul, nodded and slid me into the queue. Karen let out a sound somewhere between a cough and a dolphin scream. I accepted my small victory.
Moments later: two perfectly wrapped, warm, tangy, crispy-chicken miracles landed in my hands like a gift from the Fast Food Gods. I sat down, opened one up, took a bite…
Transcendence.
That honey mustard hit my soul. The lettuce was crisp. The tortilla was soft and just kissed by the grill.
I don’t know what mountain they harvest that seasoning salt from, but I’d die on it.
Sure, the journey began with a duel of wills and a woman who probably reviews throw pillows for sport. But the destination? Perfection.
5 stars.
The food was awesome. The start ensured too much.
I was hung up on. They were not busy when I called. This could have been reconciled easily. So easily.
