Silent film actor of the 1920s Roscoe “Fatty” Arbuckle made regular visits to the Cavalier Hotel in the late 20’s and early 30’s. Typically renting an entire floor during his stay, Fatty spent his time partying and enjoying the luxurious amenities. Very positive and friendly experience for me and my family of 5. Special shoutout to Rio for breakfast at the omelette bar. Never failed to have a positive attitude with everyone he came across. We ordered off menu a time or two and our final result was amazing. Waiters were also very nice and respectful!

Took food to go, back to my room. Fries were soggy and greasy. Chicken sandwich was OK, not great.

Nicole was amazing! She provided excellent customer service and made the whole experience enjoyable. She was friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed without us even having to ask. You can tell she really cares about her customers and takes pride in her work. I’ll definitely be coming back, and I hope she’s working again next time!

Had a wonderful time here, as with every other visit. Food, staff, venue, and atmosphere are top-notch. Special shout out to Dylan at the bar and Rio at my favorite part of breakfast—the omelet bar! Definitely come visit ^_^

This is a plain simple hotel breakfast with a bar. No view, food was not good and while the young lady who waited on us was nice, she was more focused on the people at the bar than the tables assigned. Husband had to go up to get our check. Fine if you are staying at the Embassy Suites but not if you are looking for a nice lunch or dinner.

Staying at the Marriott for NYEs and was a little hungry, so I headed across the street to Arbuckle’s for some wings. No way you could mess up wings right? WRONG! These were probably the worst buffalo wings I’ve ever had in my life. I’d rather eat wings from little Caesars. First they had no crispness and little to no buffalo sauce. I prefer my wings a little more on the well done side but the fact they weren’t sauced is what got me. I only gave one star because the bartender was nice. Waste of my money.

The cod po boy was huge but not possible to eat as a sandwich. The chicken sandwich I had on another occasion was decent. The cod was a bit salty & greasier than I would have liked which unsettled my stomach a bit. The service was rather sparse which was a bit of a downer. Appreciate their reasonable food prices.

We stayed at the Embassy Suites last night. Like many ES, we enjoyed the customer reception which is hosted at Arbuckles. We were greeted and offered seating. Since we had a late lunch we did not have dinner but saw a number of meals being served and they looked delicious as well as seeing the large portions. We wished at that time that we hadn’t had the late lunch! Nicole was waiting on tables and came to ours several times to see if we needed anything. Always with a warm smile, she made us feel very welcomed.
The next morning we went to Arbuckles for breakfast which is buffet style. The food was excellent, and so was Nicole. Again, always welcoming and one could easily see she was interested in making sure the customers were happy!! In a time when it’s hard to find a “hard worker” , Nicole is a breath of fresh air!!
