A nice place for vegan Thai food. Located in Old Bellevue Downtown, this cozy little place offers some great interior seating. The staff were friendly and the menu has a wide variety of vegan options. Tried their lunch combo and Basil Fried Rice and they tasted good.

I moved to Bellevue a few weeks ago and had yet to find a restaurant worthy of a five star rating until I found this one. Menu is clear, food is delicious, and importantly for the area… no hidden fees. Full vegan menu and manu gluten free options as well. I’ll be back for sure.

I’ve loved Araya’s Place in the U-District for years, but this Bellevue visit didn’t match that warmth or flavor. Service felt rushed, and my fiancé was interrupted mid-order. The avocado curry was pale and flat, and potstickers over-steamed. The pumpkin garlic tofu, however, was rich and satisfying. I always want to see BIPOC vegan spots win—but consistency and respect matter.

Been coming to the Bellevue location since 2016, never disappointed for once. They may have ups and downs moments but overall, good experience.
Pic of halloween Sunday Oct 26, 25 – very kind of them for giving away candies and had the most amazing lunch set experience. Why Bellevue location? They rotate their lunch menu (incl salad) every day!! Always very presentable, and creative. Their green curry is also top notch alonv with all the other large menu to explore.
I can see why they are the busiest location, for so many reasons. Very welcoming indeed and well deserved with their best Thai food award voted by Bellevue community.
Love love them and cannot say enough of how great they are.

Hopefully get to update my rating to 5 stars in my next visit because the food and vibes in this place were truly immaculate! Service was our let down though.
DISCLAIMER: both servers were great and this is not a review against them. I really hope they got some well deserved rest after their shift!
TWO servers for 30+ customers is criminal! I saw them wheezing and panting while rushing through service and felt really bad even asking them for something – our server did not even wait until we placed our full order because she was in such a rush and we had to call her back to get the full order. Experienced high wait time to place an order, request a napkin, request to-go boxes, request paper bag, request the cheque. We ended up walking over and taking the boxes and bag ourselves.
Food was incredibly delicious. We ordered two lunch plates and the mango float. 10/10! Will visit again outside of rush hour.

Had a great lunch at Araya Thai Vegan in Bellevue! Their lunch special is an incredible deal — it came with a flavorful appetizer, fresh salad, perfectly portioned Pad Thai, and even a small dessert to wrap it all up. The quantity was generous and everything tasted fresh and well-balanced. Loved the unique flavors and thoughtful presentation. A great spot for anyone looking for delicious vegan Thai food. Will definitely be back!

This place gets busy quick! We came around 1:40pm. Service was quick and food came out as it was done. The food was absolutely delicious! I ordered the lunch set and man it was a lot of food! I also order the Thai iced tea with coconut milk and it was really good. Not disappointed one bit. Will definitely try again if we ever decide to visit Seattle in the future.

I like the concept of a fully vegan/vegetarian thai restaurant n i was so so so excited for this but i fear the execution lacked thoroughly. I didnt think any dish is worth going back for aside from maybe the soup. I came here for my birthday dinner and was so disappointed when our waiter literally didnt even bring out the stuff we ordered DESPITE REMINDERS. When i was asking for takeout containers the server literally made such a rude face at me? The spring rolls were greasy, potstickers were COLD n obviously reheated frozen, curry and salad lacked any flavor at all, the teas were diluted n mid. I think everything aside from the pad se ew SORELY lacked any kind of flavor imo. Quite disappointing 🙁

Hands down this Thai restaurant has the best vegetarian Thai food. We always come here or to their other location whenever we visit the area. Their soups are clean tasting and so flavorful that you want to drink every last drop. The portions are generous to fill you up completely. I love that it’s still ran by Thai family after all these years so you know it’s authentic. The staff is friendly and welcoming. The ambiance is casual chic. It’s a must visit for all vegan and vegetarians.
