I’m always a fajita (jalapeno margarita) girl at all Mexican restaurants. I was told this was the best in our area and it was good but I do like a couple of others better. The jalapeno margarita is my second favorite and the food was good but nothing spectacular. The setting is fine but has a bit of a Denny’s feel. The service was excellent. I’d say it’s a good choice of you’re in the area and I would recommend.

We’ve eaten at a TON of a Mexican restaurants. A TON! This location blew us out of the water. The service, the atmosphere, the food. A definite 10 out of 10! You can tell the love and care they put into their business. Moving forward this will be our new date spot and we are more than willing to drive out of town for it! Prices were phenomenal too!

Beautifully decorated, classy restaurant that was very clean. Excellent service that was fast and very friendly. The food had good portions and was super tasty. The ranch-style dip was delicious the salsa was mild and fresh. Overall a superb place to eat. Highly recommend.

I have been anxiously awaiting opening day for Arandas MX Cocina. It certainly did not disappoint. Service was fast and friendly, with the owner making his rounds to check on tables while also helping the staff.
The food was amazing. Everything was so flavorful and well-prepared. The strawberry margaritas are definitely some of the best around. We had the steak nachos and the chicken delight. Portions were very generous and everything tasted amazing.
Highly recommend. This is such an excellent addition to Godfrey! Glad to have them in town.

So I was craving tacos. And Amanda’s was close, and we like it, so we stopped in. The dip for the chips is amazing. I have been trying to figure out what is, and think its a ranch dressing base, with sugar(?). Who knows, and who cares; its so good. So I got Chipotle Mango tacos. They were decent, but they came in a puddle of sauce/liquid, which was offputting/odd. I ordered the wrong thing, and it bummed me out so bad. I hould have gone with what I knew, but wanted to try something different. My mistake. My wife loved her meal, Plato Jalisco. And my daughter in law got a burrito plate and said it was fantastic. I’ve never had a bad meal from here, and last nights meal wasn’t bad, I just ordered the wrong thing. No big deal. I’ll go back.

Just went to Arandas for lunch with my husband last week and thought it was great! I loved the chips and salsa! Service was spot on- fast and brought more chips and salsa. Great atmosphere and food was fresh. Definitely better than the other two local Mexican restaurants that have been in town for a while. Glad to have this as an option instead and it’s local!

This was our favorite place in the area to eat. Food is always delicious and well priced. However, we are a LGBTQ couple and the employees treated us as if we had a disease they could catch from us. Didn’t get what was ordered and had to go out of the way to ask for more chips and had to ask for the check. When we paid they wouldn’t even hand the money to us it was set on the counter. If we return it will be for carry out. Will not return to dine in. If you’re LGBTQ don’t go here. They are discriminatory.

This place has some good food. It was our first time there and it didn’t disappoint. Good service and the food portions were good size. The place was busy but the food came out quickly and was delicious. We ordered sodas with our meal, They were huge! Me and the wife will be eating here again !!
