The service was slow. The lady working there did not bring any of their services till I asked. I know the restaurant take some time to make food so I called to order the fish to be ready when I get their since I’m in hurry for my next destination but unfortunately took them almost a 45 minutes to make the food while me sitting watching the cleaning crew working in the dining area. The food was good but not sure about the cleanliness were the same person cleaning and preparing the food that what took so long to get the food ready. I won’t come back or recommend it.

I’ve been to this place a few times and tried a few dishes before giving out this review. I usually get most of my Middle Eastern food in Philly but DE has some pretty good spots.
I’ll start with the service; both the lady taking orders and the chef who made my dish were very nice and welcoming.
This dish isn’t on the menu yet but you can ask for it. It’s called “Shish Tawouk” without sounding fancy it’s grilled chicken cubes that were marinated for God knows how long and when you eat them they make happy fireworks in your mouth (especially with hummus in my opinion).
This dish had a cabbage and onion salad with really good, soft and creamy hummus that is well balanced in flavor and texture. I will go back again for this dish. Please note; I ordered this dish this way to fit my way of eating.
I’ve also had here the chicken Mandi and the lamb Mandi before— both are very good and flavorful.
I definitely recommend this restaurant if you’re looking for halal Middle Eastern food or a good quality and flavorful meal that’s reasonably priced.

Wow, this Arabic restaurant is absolutely amazing! I ordered the kibdah and Tuna Qilabat, and every bite was incredibly delicious—you can really taste the care they put into the food. The staff was super friendly and even taught us a few Arabic phrases, which made the whole dining experience more fun.
Their bread is also fantastic—fresh and served warm, it’s hard to stop eating it. Just a heads-up, if you want to have lunch, you might want to avoid going around 11 a.m., as most Arabs have their lunch between 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. So at 11, they might only have breakfast available.
Overall, this restaurant is definitely worth recommending. It’s probably the best Yemeni restaurant in this area—truly great!

The place looks super clean, they’re very nice people, the bread is fresh made and huge! They don’t have the hummus in the menu but if you ask it’s delicious! They give you a cup of lamb broth on the house and brewed tea.

First time having Arabic place. Very welcoming place and food was delicious. Food came out very quickly and the freshly baked bread was so tasty with the fish. The price is not marked on the menu so we were kind of little worry what would be the total bill. But It was reasonable price at the end.
However, the service was not the best . The lady who welcomed us, after getting our order and served, never came once to check up on us and never asked if we wanted something to drink. We waited about 10 minutes before we had to ask, can we pay.
Overall, it was good food but service would have been a little better. It would be the best if the price is marked on the menu.

Wanted to have the half lamb mandi for my birthday. The staffs were very helpful during the whole process. We didn’t even pay any advance for such big order. They called me one day before to confirm.
The food was juicy, aromatic, flavorful, and perfect spice mixture. The lamb meat was soft, fatty, and juicy. It was served with soup, side salad, and tangy sauce.
We were a small batch (half lamb is good for 15-20 people). They packed rest of the food and kept it warm till our departure.

Excellent service, excellent food. What we weren’t expecting was the experience. The dishes were huge and meant to be shared so it was a very interactive dining experience and perfect for our double date night. The staff was friendly and welcoming and the food was excellent.

I was really disappointed with my experience at this restaurant. The food did not taste fresh at all — it felt like it had been cooked yesterday and just reheated. The rice was dry, and the meat had a strange texture and lacked flavor. We ended up leaving most of it on the plate. Definitely not worth the visit, and I wouldn’t recommend it if you’re looking for fresh, good-quality food.
