This restaurant is on the second floor of a building off of George Washington Way. Cute feel & friendly staff. Waitress made us feel welcomed & attentive.
We had hot house saki & Takoyaki appetizer. We will return just for the takoyaki! Takoyaki was nicely crispy on the outside with a soft & chewy middle. It is perfection.
The lunch Bulgogi was super delicious. Came out steaming on a hot plate, with rice the side. Caramelized onions.
We Liked the Caterpillar roll. Fave because it is simple & not too much sauce. The Bluefin Tuna Sashimi, comes with pickled pearl onions & a wonderful green sauce on top.The Amigos Roll was huge with a cilantro & tomato salsa on top. The flavor was really good , fresh, and a but spicy. Very original.
I also really like the Sunshine roll, the spicy Tuna inside has a nice kick of heat, the cucumbers have a great flavor, and I love the tuna with spicy mayo draped.on top!
We also like The Holy Crab… It was a sweet & creamy roll with crab stick salad draped on top. My teen likes this one, a slight toasty sesame oil flavor& eel sauce drizzled on top.
The Boss roll was a bit spicy , cream cheese, tempura shrimp, with spicy Tuna on top. I will say that some of these rolls have a lot of sauce on top or imitation crab on top.
We tried the Heart Attack & Jalapeno bomb. Deep fried & breaded. Was good….But I like the non fried foods better. Miso soup is nicely flavored & comes on the house.
The Richland roll had sliced tuna & salmon on top. The BSC had baked Scallop on top & some kind of creamy dressing? Very moist.

Came in on Valentine’s night, the restaurant was completely full minus one table. They sat us immediately (crazy! We weren’t expecting to get that lucky). Service was amazing and the food was just as good as always. Our favorite sushi place in the Tri!

The absolute best sushi place in town. From the moment you bite into the shashimi you can taste the freshness and quality of the fish. Paired with the fresh wasabi, it was a flavorful and dynamic experience. The menu itself contained a lot of familiar faces and pleasant surprises. I tried a little bit of everything, from the tempura to the bulgogi and they all have one over arching theme; home good freshness. I got too excited and didn’t take more photos of the other dishes. This is a convenient excuses to return and try something new! The dishes keep you coming back, and the family that runs the restaurant will make you feel at home! Try anything here and I guarantee you won’t be disappointed. I’ll be back soon!
Update 2/26 – Driving home after a long day, sometimes great food is all you need to make everything better. They say our mood translates into the food we cook. If that is true then our chefs joy and optimism is what lifted our spirits. From the bulgogi bibimbap, to the yellow tail nigir, our palettes rejoiced. Our favorite sushi roll is now “The Fantastic” I’m pretty sure that is going to alternate on our next quest here.

Nice, quiet place with good food! They have a large menu with many different options. I sampled several different rolls and each was as delicious as the next. The staff were very friendly and knew about the options. Naomi did a wonderful job explaining the rolls when I had questions and her service was excellent!

Super fun restaurant upstairs from some other businesses. These people are talented and the fish was fresh. Their menu has a lot of interesting rolls, if sashimi isn’t your thing. I highly suggest you try them if so. Service staff were very attentive and great with recommendations. Eat here. We will again.

Upon entering your greeted with the challenge presented by the location of a 2nd story location over another business. Plenty of seating in a shared, large room. First thing I noticed was no seating at the chef station which seemed considerably taller and less visible than other spots I’ve been to. Upon request the waitress offered a few recommendations. When she added one of their rolls was “big” I assumed it would have a few extra pieces compared to normal specialty rolls. When the rolls were brought out I was greeted by the largest sushi roll dimensionally I’d ever seen. This thing was like a monster burrito meets a sushi roll! Overall the rolls were delicious. Portions were out of this world. The Miso was different enough to bring comments from myself and my guest. Not sure if it was pieces of sourdough added or something else, but I will definitely be inquiring about it next time. Very pleased and looking forward to coming back for a dinner here.

The service is great and the place is nice. The miso soup (that is on the house BTW) is one of the best I’ve ever eat. The shumai are delicious, soft, watering the mouth. Unfortunately the rolls we eat didn’t impressed us: there were too much mayo and sause, that ruined the delicate taste of fish. The portions are huge, so you definitely will be pleased with the amount of food.
