Excellent spot for classic French eats. Highly recommend getting a reservations although they did manage to squeeze us in at the bar. Of course the foie gras was amazing, but also really loved the swordfish!!

Wonderful cozy french atmosphere. We sat in a booth. It was very easy to have a conversation. Our waiter was wonderful taking time to help us choose the right wine for our dinner. The penkin duck was delicious. The pomegranate reductions so wonderful. We will have dinner here again.

Great food, service and ambiance. French bistro dishes not seen often were nicely seasoned and plated. Service was professional, and good care was taken with special requests, such as sauce on the side.

Beautiful and elegant restaurant, with a good bar, good acoustics, pleasant music and atmosphere. Very good service, although our waitress did not wear a name tag or mention her name.
The menu is a bit limited, not many options. We did not feel like having meat or seafood, so the only entree we could have was cavapati with mushrooms, and it was greasy.
The portions were relatively small and the prices were relatively high. So overall not amazing but pleasant, nice experience.

If there was a zero rating, I would have selected it. We didn’t have a reservation, but we were seated since there was hardly anyone in the restaurant during brunch. Our waiter, Jonner, took our order, and I guess since we didn’t order a cocktail or two, he decided he was no longer our waiter. Another server served us our food, and the hostess had to refill our sparkling water since the waiter ignored our table altogether. We ordered the duck confit with hash and eggs. The food was greasy and bland. The only thing on the plate that was edible was the sunny side eggs and toast. The price we paid was not worth it and we will never return. Not once did anyone ask how the food and service were, and it shows they didn’t care.

The food quality and quantity was lacking. The $52 steak needed a chainsaw to cut through and everyone was hungry after an appetizer and entree due to extremely small portion sizes. The servers and atmosphere gave it 2 stars instead of one because they were lovely.

Aquitaine is a great place for any casual dinner. Fresh food and good service.
The burrata was great, the peas mixed in, not so much.
Steak Frites was delicious.
Service was a little slow, possibly related to covid, not sure but wasn’t as great as normally it is. Overall would recommend.

Service was extremely friendly. Restaurant layout was that of a traditional and slightly upscale brasserie. Food quality is the only reason of the low review. We ordered the most sad and pathetic cheese board for $22. Image below. No meat, no olives. Slimy cheese, rotten grapes, and sriacha sauce on a cheese board? Like what? Anyway, ordered the poivre which was absolutely delicious, but was listed as $MP. It was $56 for a hamburger, the price should have been listed considering the only other expensive entree was around $36. I should have confirmed, but sneaky on their end nonetheless. The green onions were undercooked and I Al’s it choked multiple times. Dad ordered Lapin, a few bites, extremely under seasoned and dry, basically was a bowl of bad pasta for $30. Mom ordered a mashed potato and veggie dish with so much butter it was sickening to finish. Overall low quality and extremely overpriced. Go to La Voile in Boston instead.

Stopped by today at 12:00 to check it out for a potential Mother’s Day brunch in May. The host took my reservation and I decided to sit at the bar and explore the menu. I Ordered a lavender French 75 cocktail with gin, lemon, Prosecco, and lavender simple syrup. Perfect blend of sweet and tart. Well poured. The Sweetest bartender attended to me quickly even though I’m a 60+ year old female. I ordered the lemon blueberry crepes with honey and sea salt almond brittle. O. M. G.
