Stopped for happy hour drinks for the first time yesterday even after seeing many below average reviews. Don’t be fooled we had a great experience at the small bar. Emily our server was friendly efficient and couldn’t have been nicer. The drinks were great and reasonably priced.

What a beautiful restaurant on the inside. Blue lights enhance the bars and the decorations are tastefully done. The food was not very good. My shrimp salad was very small but tasty. Mostly lettuce. My companion said he would not go back. The bathroom was clean and well done with beautiful sinks and lots of mirrors. The outside plantings were not kept up and the handicap signs are old and could be replaced.

I ordered fettuccine with pesto and crab, and it appeared the crab had escaped the pot. There was none! When I called this to the attention of the waiter, he asked if I would like more. ..? Confused, I said, “no” and ate my pesto and noodles, feeling like a five-year-old. He brought us another party’s bill. We got that sorted, and paid the 4 percent surcharge for using our credit card. We won’t be back.

Great experience at Aqua. Live music was really engaging and the food was delicious. Only knock on them is that they charge you a 4% transaction fee to use a credit card which is absurd for a restaurant that is not cheap.

Excellent from start to finish. We were meeting friends for a happy hour drink. Upon arriving, Lauri (the greeter/hostess) asked if we had a reservation. We told her we were just meeting friends for a drink. She pointed out available bar spots which there were very few. She then went out of her way to get us a table. We were seated quickly and ended up ordering several menu items. The food was delicious. Service was fabulous. Our server, Nadzi, was extremely attentive and the drinks and food came out quickly. The bar staff (for the short wait we had) was attentive – took our order and got our drinks to us quickly. I would not hesitate to go back again.

The beet salad is canned beets. The food overall was very midwestern, meaning bland and canned. I will never go back after spending $100 on garbage. Our waiter never even spoke to us except for—ready to order —and ready for the check. Very disappointing. The music was excellent-it was three women singing older hits and they were worth the time spent sitting in the restaurant.

Love this place, normally. Happy hour waiting for our husbands to arrive from work the elderly bar tender was extremely rude, asked us to move over and we stated our husbands were it route, he loudly questioned us “ well where are they”! We arrived only 5 minutes early. Than ordered a martini and he argued with me about the type of vodka I requested, he almost ruined our evening. Food was good but won’t go back.

It’s good that this part of Bonita finally has a cute spot that is open late & has live entertainment! However, the food is nothing to write home about. The risotto was not properly cooked, fish was sub par & overall we just were not impressed with the way anything tasted or the presentation of any of the dishes. Especially for the price. Even the oysters Rockefeller was unimpressive. The service, however, was great! We enjoyed Bonnie & the live band, but will not be back for dinner.
