Reviews
For appetizers, we decided to mix Italian and Japanese flavors and ordered the Arancini, Burrata, shrimp tempura, Dumplings, and a bread basket. Everything was fresh and flavorful. For our mains we had the Bucatini Cacio e Pepe, Raviolo alla Carbonara, chicken teriyaki skewers, and vegetable fried rice. Each dish was excellent, and everything was so delicious that we finished every plate completely. One of the highlights of the night was the cacao pipe, which was made and served tableside with truffles, such a fun and unique touch.
To end the night, we enjoyed a matcha latte and the chocolate cake, which had the rich, warm texture of a molten lava cake. Overall, it was one of the best dining experiences we’ve had. The service was excellent, the staff was attentive, and everyone worked together seamlessly. The manager was incredibly pleasant, and the ambience with the DJ spinning made the whole night feel special. We will definitely be revisiting Aqua Roma. ♥️
We ordered an array of dishes from both kitchens and truly got the best of everything. The sushi and sashimi were incredibly fresh and delicious. We also tried pizza and a variety of pastas, and every single dish was perfect. Everything paired beautifully with the red wine our server Winslo recommended. His suggestion was spot on.
Winslo was super attentive and accommodating throughout the night, making sure we had everything we needed. A special shoutout to Johnnie the manager, who made sure we were having a wonderful time. After we mentioned how amazing the food was and that we wanted to thank the chef, he kindly introduced us to one of the chefs, which made the experience feel even more personal and memorable.
Such a fun, delicious, and well run spot. We will definitely be back.
That said, the experience was just okay. The food is fusion-style (Japanese-inspired), but nothing stood out. The drinks were fine, and the lobster roll was actually very good. Everything else was average.
Unfortunately, the service was not great. When we asked what was going on, the server mentioned that another server didn’t show up for work, which clearly affected the service. While that’s understandable, it still impacted our experience.
Overall, I’d rate it about a 5–6 out of 10. Beautiful space, okay food and drinks, but poor service. Probably good for a large group if staffing is better, but I wouldn’t go back based on our experience.
The lychee martini was light, slightly sweet, and perfectly balanced — super refreshing and easy to sip. It paired really well with the sushi.
The ambiance is definitely lively and upscale — more of a vibe than a quiet dinner spot — which made it feel perfect for a date night or girls’ night out. Service was attentive, and the presentation of everything felt elevated.
This Italian-Asian fusion restaurant offers a great atmosphere for a date night and can also be a more semi casual after work spot at the bar with great views.
The restaurant can be quite pricey but they have one of the best happy hours from 12-6pm and you can always find a spot
The fried calamari from the happy hour menu is delicious, as well as the lychee Martini
This place made it to my favorite list.
Honestly, every dish we tried was excellent—no misses at all. What really stood out was the food-serving performance. It felt more like a show than just a meal, and it kept everyone entertained. The place was packed and pretty loud, but that lively, buzzing energy actually made the dinner even more exciting. If you enjoy great food with a fun, high-energy vibe, this spot totally delivers.
Upon arrival the interior design was nice, with a large interior dining area.
It was a preset menu besides the entree (which has a good selection) we went with the lobster roll and the truffle pizza which was delicious definitely recommend.
The sushi platter and fruit platter lived up to the presentation, esthetics 10/10 and fresh.
Only issue I had was with organization of service, when the sushi platter arrived, condiments didn’t arrive with it, and when we finished the platter, the condiments arrived, besides that everything else was great.
