Social Profile:

We are the first Cajun seafood restaurant in Hell’s Kitchen, spotlighting an array of seafood boils encouraging you to get messy! The concept was conceived when our team fell in love with real boils while traveling throughout New Orleans, studying the different flavor profiles of Cajun style dishes and paying close attention to how the boils were served and prepared. When we realized there were no eateries like this in Hell’s Kitchen, we knew it was the perfect location to open Aqua Boil to showcase authentic flavors and spices in a fun, vibrant and interactive environment.

Seafood spot serving boils, lobster rolls & fried fish platters plus nautically themed cocktails.

We shared the Mad Ocean Combo and chose shrimp, snow crab legs, crawfish, mussels, and a whole lobster with the Cajun Mix sauce at medium spice—everything came out dumped straight on the table with corn and potatoes underneath, classic style. Portions were generous (we couldn’t finish), the seafood was fresh, and the sauce was flavorful without being overly salty. The snow crab was easy to peel, the lobster claw meat was pretty full, and the corn soaked up the sauce nicely. We also ordered the Aqua Roll, which was more filling than expected with a good amount of shrimp and lobster, plus two cocktails—Beach Bum was more fruit-forward than the Piña Colada.

Hands down the most satisfying seafood boil I’ve had in NYC! The Cajun mix was insanely flavorful, perfectly coating the fresh lobster, snow crab legs, shrimp, crawfish, and clams — every bite was messy in the best way. The fun, hands-on experience and coastal vibe at Aqua Boil make it a must-visit in Hell’s Kitchen!

Clean, efficient and friendly service plus really good food! Got shrimp & crab legs plus sausage and corn in a boil – potatoes are already included. Cajun mix seasoning was bomb – perfect at medium spice level and the garlic noodles are a must get as well. Highly recommend!

This was good but not the best seafood boil I’ve ever had. I would still go back and had a good time there. I really liked the aesthetic of the place. The corn ribs were very tasty. I’m not sure how the price compares to other places in NYC but it was pricier than what I am used to in the LA area.

The seafood was awesome! The service was exceptional. They had house music playing in the background. There were lots of boil meal options because you can select your seafood, your seasoning and level of spicy.

I had a bold, spicy, and seriously tasty seafood boil at Aqua Boil.
The flavors were definitely on the addictive side—messy, punchy, and totally satisfying.
What really stuck with me though? The clam chowder served in a bread bowl that was literally the size of a human head. Crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and filled with rich, creamy chowder—it was impossible not to dig in.

Had a terrible experience at the location. We ordered the 5 pounds combo of shrimp, snowcrab leg, and clam with the butter garlic sauce. Everything was a disappointment. The garlic butter sauce tasted like curry. The shrimp was not fresh and had no taste. The crab leg was super dry and overcooked and had absolutely no flavor. Half of the clams were missing the meat and the rest were very salty.

After trying the combo, we reflected the issues with the restaurant and asked for a refund. They immediately took the whole dish away and told us that they don’t do refund. No apologies were given. They simply stated that their food was definitely fresh and no refund would be given. Even if the food had no issue and we were just unsatisfied with the food, it’s a basic decency to show a good attitude. Would advise all friends to avoid.

We walked in looking for a light dinner and we walked away more than satisfied. We had the Lobster Roll and jambalaya, and both were delicious. My only regret after ordering was seeing the mouth watering boils coming out to others. We’ll definitely be back with a bigger appetite soon!

We went out for a dinner. If I tell you the food was so damn good, it’s a shame. The drinks was the bomb.com. Tom was making them drinks like a true barista!!!! You must come and enjoy the fresh food like we did….Thanks Tom again. Our bill came to 303 for the 3 of us. You also got to watch it those sides be adding up. It is worth it.
