Upon entering this place smells amazing. This is my second time in but most likely my last got some soup today. Way too spicy for me was not enjoyable gave it to my girlfriend she didn’t like it either she told me..too spicy couldn’t even taste the vegetables that were in there All I tasted it was spice. It’s a little expensive but it has to be nowadays anything homemade is going to cost you some money. I’m a chef/baker myself and I try to try new places. It’s a beautiful little place it’s definitely worth your time just wasn’t for me

I cannot rave enough about Aprilla’s and her incredible creations. I first discovered her on instagram and was intrigued by her creative flavor profiles and the beauty of her plating, and confectionery artwork. She has now made desserts for the two biggest events in my life and honestly as someone with a major sweet tooth her treats were the highlights. I still dream of the espresso dark chocolate cake, the funfetti passion fruit cake, and the Italian shortbread cookies. Oh, and she was able to make the cakes gluten free without affecting the texture and the cakes were still moist My recommendation if you are ordering something special, is to give her a vague idea and let her do her thing! You won’t be disappointed. If you’re stopping in the shop you’ll find different delectables and her amazing hot sauces. Warning to the weak, they pack a punch of flavorful heat. They’re fantastic on breakfast sandwiches and burritos. Anyway, she doesn’t just provide delicious and visually pleasing bites. Her warm and welcoming personality, big bright smile, and incredible sense of humor will keep you coming back. 10/10 human being with a beautiful skill and gift for food.

If you want a custom cake for any occasion come here. Absolutely fantastic service and cake! I got this custom cake made(cats not included lol) and it was delicious and looked exactly like what my gf wanted for her birthday. I will be going back to try other things. They worked with me around my schedule to pick it up. Thank you! (Bad lighting in my picture I know but trust it looked amazing and exactly what I asked for)

Aprilla’s has quickly become my favorite, go-to spot. Her food is beyond incredible, and she and her staff are always so friendly. I love this place so much that I’m frequenlty giving out gift cards as gifts, and I even used her to cater my small business’s Christmas party!
Everything is absolutely delicious, but my all-time favorites are:
Butcher-house quiches
Grilled banana bread
Cinnamon roll coffee cake
Carnitas quesadillas
Peanut butter pie delights
You seriously cannot go wrong here. Highly, highly recommended!

Quaint little bakery out of your neighborhood garage. Posh decor but homely and comfortable. I ordered the burrito, which was a nice contrast to the flavorless morsels I had before, and the salsa was full of flavor. Excited to see the menu and other items for order.

Went for the burrito they were sold out. I asked if they had anything along the line and was recommended the chili. It’s perfection. It does have beans, for you TX chili peoples, but is so flavorful with a small amount of heat on the end note. Also grabbed a fudgy brownie and turtle cheesecake. All were exceptional. Go early and go often.

I finally discovered Aprilla’s and went in for a coffee and breakfast burrito. Ended up getting an apple pastry, garlic jalapeño sourdough bread and a jalapeño pretzel as well. Everything was absolutely exceptional! The staff was so warm and friendly, and Aprilla has put her heart and soul into her creations. Truly amazing people, and such a wonderful experience. You need to see for yourself!

Delicious!! I ordered two salted caramel scones and they were amazing-perfect amount of sweet and a hint of salt, buttery…so glad I ordered two! Staff is so pleasant and the atmosphere is cozy and cool. The baked goods all look so good, and there’s a good amount of savory and prepared food options, too. I will absolutely be back to try other items. 🙂

I ordered a Mad Dog, gluten free dessert. It was so delicious and the people were so nice. I can’t wait to finish it.

Let me tell you about the Beyoncé of carbohydrates; I stumbled into Aprilia’s Artisan Café in Waterville after a long day of pretending to enjoy nature so i could have an excuse to smoke more hash. What I found was nothing short of a culinary fever dream that has been hiding from the rest of New England.
First, can we talk about their tortillas? THEIR TORTILLAS. In Maine. I know, I was skeptical too. Who goes to the northernmost corner of New England expecting to find tortillas that would make your abuela weep? Yet there I was, experiencing what can only be described as a spiritual awakening with each bite. They’re somehow both pillowy and tender, like if a cloud and everything right in this world had a delicious baby. Aprilla must have made a deal with some sort of carbohydrate devil.
But the real reason my pants no longer fit is their dessert menu. Their desserts are composed in no uncertain terms of what I suspect is the actual tears of happiness from previous customers.
I made the mistake of audibly moaning while eating the blueberry keylime pie cup was so good that the elderly couple next to me asked if I needed a private room. I did not apologize.
The only downside to Aprilia’s is that you’ll leave with both a sugar high and the crushing realization that all other food in Waterville is now ruined for you forever. I’ve been back four times in one week, this is truly bread Beyoncé in the flesh.
