Stopped by our neighborhood Applebee’s the other night because we couldn’t think of anywhere else to go. We seated ourselves immediately upon arrival in the bar, which was great because we showed up during happy hour. There was a bit of a delay before anyone came over to greet us or take our food/drink order. After being seated for a bit, one of the female bartenders came by and brought us waters and then another server took over because their shift started. Once service picked up, the experience was much better. The food was well-prepared and flavorful, and the happy hour specials were an especially great value for both food and drinks. However, 1 of the 3 appetizers we ordered was barely warm when we received it, as if it was done and had been sitting there awhile before it was brought out to our table. Elliot was an excellent server—very friendly, patient, and professional. He made sure to check in on us throughout the meal without being intrusive and was happy to answer questions and make suggestions. His attentive service definitely stood out and made the visit more enjoyable. Overall, a solid experience with good food, great happy hour deals, and standout service once things got rolling. With slightly quicker initial service and fresher/hotter appetizers, this would easily be a five-star spot.

1st time ever at any Applebee’s! Loved loved our server Benji! The food took awhile they were pretty busy and they volunteerly took off 10 percent of bill all on their own without us ever asking. Food was hot large portions. One chicken tender dish was overcooked and they replaced them in minutes and gave a little discount as well for them. We will definitely be back. We ate there for under $40 for two, taking advantage of the “1 appetizer/2 entree’s for $25!” menu.
We had onion rings for the appetizer, chicken fettuccine with breadstick for the first main course dish, and 8 oz. steak with green beans and Mexican rice for the second entree’ (would have also gone well with the garlic mashed potatoes instead of rice).
The meal was quite excellent. The chicken fettuccine was better than Olive Gardens, and the steak was awesome, cooked perfectly, and all the sides were fresh and delicious!
Oh! The onion rings were done really well, not mushy, not to hard, and hearty cuts of onion.
Props to the cook! He/She must have some time under their belt, because they knew how to prepare EVERYTHING very satisfactorily, and the restaurant was about full, so they must have been juggling quite a few dishes at once.
Our waitress did a great job, didn’t overly visit the table, but checked in just enough to know their job well. Cudos to her, which prompted a 30%+ tip.
All in all a great experience. We joked about why we hadn’t been there in a few years. Especially with the rising costs of a meal out for two these days.
It was inexpensive by comparison, just enough for us (took a small box home even), and we left with smiles on our faces.
Definitely will do it again soon!

This place isn’t good to begin with but it’s often a place that’s open late and good for socializing so my large group of friends and I come here once in a while.
The last time we tried to go here we experienced out right discrimination. This is completely unacceptable and someone needs to be held accountable for this.
As soon as they learned that we were 1. Pertaining to a certain religious group and 2. Spoke a different language- we speak English too. There was no manager to report this to because this disgusting behavior was coming from the manager himself.
I would like to contact the general manager or someone superior to this manager to give them more details about this experience. They need to know how those eye rolls, scoffs and rude expressions that were used.
Yes we were a large group, there was 2 hours until closing.
If the kitchen was understaffed all it took was a friendly “ hey guys we are low staffed in the kitchen so our turn around time will likely put us too close to closing time. We would love to serve you a different day” that is what a good manager would have done.

Went here with my family for happy hour (half price appetizers). Towards the end of our meal, there was a mistake with our seating arrangement, and the manager moved us to a booth and gave us all free desert. Very good food and dining experience.

A friend of mine and I went for a few drinks. The total for my bill was $27. I tipped $5 and then when I checked my card the waitress/bartender had added an extra dollar onto my tip and ran it as two different transactions. It was a pretty shady thing to do. Showed up and got sat quickly in the bar, everything was going good until we ordered… waitresses mood instantly changed, I assume because we got the two for $25 and water so she took us as cheap? I’ve always tipped 20-50% based on server service but today was the first time I’ve ever tipped 0, our server never checked up on us again after that, another girl came and asked if we needed anything we asked for napkins which our original server came back with and said nothing when she dropped them off didnt even acknowledge us. We were out of water for awhile, never acquired about the food or anything else either. All of which I was still gonna leave 15% until I went to pay and used the reader, she walked by to help the table behind us and then walked towards us glared and didn’t say anything even though she could obviously see we were paying and about to head out, not a have a good night or hope everything was good, nothing. So 0 it was, I’ll never come back to this Apple bees, worst server experience I’ve ever had.
