We ordered a large to go order. Everything came as ordered and on time which was awesome. My ONLY complaint was the steak.. I have never eaten a steak that turns to paste when I put it in my mouth. It was literally inedible. It was not fat, I was able to make a paste on my fingers with the steak. Not only was it expensive but what actually was it?!

Lakewood location! Happy Hour, 3 to 6 and again 9 to Midnight! Went for TNF. Had the Bourbon Street Chicken and Schrimp, was delicious! Staff and service was attentive, quick and friendly!

My mother in law and I came in for a quick lunch, alittle busy but Ona came out immediately to let us know she would be with us momentarily. She greeted us and got everything from drinks to entree in one order. Drinks were consistently refilled without reminders, to go cups, boxes and sauce containers were brought out the moment we were finished. Best server we have ever had, at one moment my MIL asked “are we mic’s up” everything we talk about she brings to existence without being in ear shot.

Our visit here today was all messed up. Let me explain. First of all exceptional service including managers & staff. We had 5 adults and three kids. Zowie the pickle fries are amazing. I think they may have had a new cook but we had some issues. Buns to hard to eat & chicken stripes overcooked. And the new grilled cheesehamburger was greasy and the new spice made it have a “bite” it was definitely interesting. Ok but hear this the store manager was AMAZING. I don’t think I have had that good of customer service/satisfaction in a long long long time. He went above and beyond to make sure we were Ok even brought the kids some extra ice-cream. Ladies and gents it is because of him I will definitely be back. This Applebee’s has a gem and I hope they keep him. He definitely knows how to make things right.

We came here on 02/26 for my daughter’s 12th birthday. Our food was fine. However the service was terrible. Our waitress was to busy worried about a bigger table. We were out of drinks for a while. By the time she actually came to check on us we were completely done with our meal. I ordered a dessert to go and asked it to not be warmed and it was warmed anyway. While they fixed that for me. Service was still terrible for not being all that busy.

I went with my mom yesterday for lunch. We were seated immediately, no wait, and our area was empty except for two tables who already had food. Our waitress took 10 minutes to show up, and only dropped by once to refill a water we didn’t need refilled to begin with. She was quiet but not rude, just not hospitable. Another waitress from across the room heard me asking, I wonder where our waitress is, and she gave me a horrible stank eye, and she wasn’t even our waitress turns out. Then a couple tables over, a different waitress, also not ours, was loudly telling a group of people that they better tip well, and I couldn’t tell if she personally knew them or not, so I felt like loudly joking like that is pretty unprofessional and doesn’t set a good atmosphere or vibe for a place because other patrons don’t know if staff know someone personally or not. The food tasted good, but made both my mom and I sick not long afterwards. We’ve ate at Applebee’s before in different locations and I’ve had the exact meal I had yesterday at other times and Applebee’s locations and have never gotten as sick as I did. Just not a very good experience at all.

the manager on shift when my partner and i dined in was Frank, and let me tell you, amazing person! his costumer service was amazing! his laugh is very infectious and we felt like we were really being taken care of. its been a while sense i really felt welcomed at a food joint. im really glad we picked to go in tonight! thank you Frank for making our dinner experience that much more exciting!

While not a terrible experience, Applebee’s lacks the style that it once had. I had visited the previous week and ordered a bourbon street steak. The first thing I did was laugh at the portion size. It was as far from the picture in the menu as you could get. It came with a grand total of 2 and 1/2 mushroom slices from the runt of the litter. The waitress was nice about getting more.
The next time I went I ordered an Old Fashioned for a drink as my bar comparator. It took ages to be delivered by the waiter this time. The drink was one of the worst I’ve had, one of the bottom 3 Old Fashions. It was bottom-barrel alcohol and had a weird flavor to it that made it almost undrinkable. It was so watered down with crushed ice (not a single cube like the recipe wants), that by the end I was drinking badly flavored water.
Keeping with the theme, I ordered a bourbon street mushroom Swiss. The burger was better than the previous steak, as it came with more than one mushroom. The fries were also decent.
The price for 2 burgers and fries with a single bar drink came out to $80+. A bit outrageous for what you get.

Sarah is one of my top 3 favorite servers I’ve had in an Applebee’s. Not only was she genuine but she made sure to keep up on paying attention to all her tables needs. It was a great experience and even if the food wasn’t the best, if come back because of the service. I didn’t say anything about the food until I checked out which she offered to replace but it was nice to know she acknowledged it still. Truly a gem at this place and I’m so thankful after my long day I had her service.

I ordered sides for our new year’s eve party. They did look to be generous portions and I believe everyone liked them. I did not receive silverware to serve and had to ask. The delivery person reluctantly went inside and grabbed me tableware to use. I did not know they wouldn’t have at least a few serving spoons since my order was not that small. I ordered 5 items.
