Some people from the suburbs go into the city for a nice expensive meal. I’m not that person. I’m the one who goes into the suburbs from the city for a cheap meal and cheap drinks.
It’s walking distance from the light rail, the fancier alcohol is cheaper than a well drink on happy hour on Capitol Hill. And the food is predictable. Get a burger, can’t go wrong with a burger

Applebee’s is one of my go-to places when I’m hanging out late. The food is pretty good, and I love that they offer happy hour specials. It’s a comfortable spot to relax, grab a bite, and enjoy some drinks with friends. I’ll definitely keep coming back.

I came here for lunch to have their Southwest Chicken Bowl. It was fantastic! I love their guac and the dressing: sour, creamy, and spicy. The chicken is flavourful by itself. Their portion was so huge, I even need to split half for my dinner. The service was good enough and the atmosphere is casual. Lemonade is a perfect pairing for me to have with the bowl.

I placed a delivery order thru Applebees website 12/23/25 for 2 grilled cheeseburgers no sauce well done as my wife is pregnant. Order showed up both with sauce no big deal I’ll scrap it off, then the first bite the patty is literally raw and cold. I called the store and the offered to remake it and have us pick it up, if I could have picked it up I wouldn’t have paid for delivery in the first place. The person on the phone told me the cook was brand new and apologized and got the manager for me. After speaking to the manager we agreed on refund for the one meal sent via gift card to my email which would have been fine but they couldn’t even follow thru with that. I understand it’s a busy time of the year and mistakes happen but at least follow thru and make things right

We absolutely love the desserts at Applebee’s! The Triple Chocolate Meltdown is our all-time favorite, and it’s usually our go-to whenever those dessert cravings hit. Today was extra special because I got to visit with my friends and enjoy it in person instead of just picking it up. We had such a great time together—the vibe was lively and fun. It was impressive to see the place still packed even at 10:30 PM!
Definitely a go-to spot for late-night dessert runs and catching up with friends. Can’t wait to come back!

Tasty food that is made hot and fresh. Happy hour is great. Wish they had more options on the 2 for menu. The riblets, boneless wings,and onion rings are the best around! The drink specials are good for the price although the alcohol is sparse. It’s still one of our favorite restaurants with consistently good food and service.

We had dinner at Applebee’s and it was a really nice experience!
The service was great, fast and friendly. The prices were also very fair. We ordered chicken wings with blue cheese sauce, a steak with sides and onion rings, and Bourbon chicken with shrimp and mashed potatoes. Everything was delicious and the total was only $33!
There is also a kids’ menu. We got pizza, fries, and a drink for $7. The portions were big, and we couldn’t finish everything, so they gave us boxes and a bag to take the food home.
The only small problem was the air conditioning. It was blowing cold air near our table, so we felt a bit cold. But overall, it was a very positive experience and we would be happy to come back again!

I came here about two weeks ago to eat with some friends. We were put on a 5 minute wait to give the servers time between tables, completely understandable, just figured they were short staffed. We sat at the bar, and the bartender was nice. When leaving, a manager was standing at the host stand. My friend, who is black, stopped to ask if they were hiring for servers or bartenders. This older white female manager very obviously looked her up and down then proceeded to tell her no. We all noticed it, and discussed how that was weird and how her response felt racially motivated. Lo and behold, we see an indeed job listing for this location for servers and bartenders, posted ONE MONTH AGO. Our suspicions were confirmed after seeing this. I am glad that we know this place is ran by racist people before she actually applied and was put in an unsafe working environment. This is completely unacceptable behavior and this location missed out on what would have been an exceptional hire.
