Management needs to get gone! Empty tables everywhere and 30 minute wait. Poor customer service, then after waiting get sat, they sat us in the empty table that was empty when we walked in! Out of beer, out of food products! This is all management ran poorly. The workers here are doing the best they can with poor management

My recent visit to Applebees in Merced was a disappointment. There was no problem with the food or the server, Sabrina, she was the best and she was so attentive. The atmosphere was also noisy and distracting. Glen, the manager, cursed consistently in front of our disabled children and all the other customers in the dining area. Overall, the experience was not worth the price, and I would not recommend this restaurant to others especially if Glen continues that unprofessional behavior in the dining area. Sabrina was the only positive thing about the experience.

Sometimes when I stop by Merced I would come grub here usually for take out but I dined in here a couple of times. The hostess was amazing and lovely I like her vibes. During my most recent visit, I had an older lady as my server and she was mostly okay. Idk why she gave me another drink without me asking while my first drink was still mostly full. For the most part I enjoy my time here as always.
I sorta hate that their items has gotten a little more expensive cause I almost spent $30 for one of their meals with a drink. I think I might go with one of their special deals next time

Marissa was our server last night and she was wonderful. It was a bit busy with it being New Year’s and all but she was on top of it. She was incredibly friendly and attentive throughout our meal. She provided excellent customer service and made sure our drinks came on time!..Had a great experience and I will definitely be coming back because of her.

Applebee’s is THE go-to spot! We go at least once a week. Bartenders are awesome, always keeping our glasses full. Staff is amazing and the food is great! Where else can you go eat 2 full entrees with an appetizer for $25?? I need to give Joe a shout out because it’s not only a dining & drinking experience, you get some singing as well! visited this restaurant with my children because they really enjoy the food here. Unfortunately, our experience was affected by the behavior of our server. From the beginning, her responses, gestures, and tone of voice were noticeably rude. It got to the point where I had to leave my table and speak to the store manager to request that the server no longer attend to our table. The manager agreed without asking for details.
The server later returned and apologized for her behavior, which I did appreciate. She also said she wanted to make things right. However, I had already asked the manager not to send her back, and I stand by that request. When I take my children out to eat, I expect a pleasant experience—not disrespect or a server in a bad mood taking it out on us.
What made the situation even more disappointing is that it wasn’t during a busy rush. It was around 12:00 p.m., so there was no obvious reason for that kind of treatment.

First time at this location, it was so very good. From the front door to the check it was a fantastic meal. I had the Bourbon Street burger, my wife had a sample trio both fantastic hot fresh and delicious. Our service was provided by Sabrina P. and she is fantastic.

I stopped going to this Applebee’s for about a year, and after returning, I can say it’s definitely not the same specially at the bar.
The manager was unprofessional and seemed to lack basic knowledge of her role. She was rude and pressured us to order more food in order to continue serving us beer. We were already full and did not want to order more food. Because of that alone, she refused to sell us more beer.
What made the situation even more uncomfortable was that there were other customers at the bar who had been there since before we arrived, and we never once saw them order food—yet they continued to be served without any issue. This inconsistency felt discriminatory and unfair.
Overall, the manager’s attitude was rude, unprofessional, and unacceptable. Because of this experience, my friends and I will not be returning, and I’m sure other customers will be lost as well.

Went here with my husband and son for a late lunch. Our server Eviana was amazing, she emediatly opened the door for us and greeted us making us feel very welcome. She has such a welcoming way and was very attentive to our needs and was amazing with our son. Although our waitress was also very quick and friendly Eviana stood out to us because of how patient and friendly she was with our son the whole time we were there. Our food came out quite fast considering how full the restaurant was. Will be returning again.
