How does one review Applebee’s? Its good Ole fashioned American fair. What sets this place apart is the staff, the atmosphere, and thier willingness to seat a large party. We came in late night after funeral preparations with a group of 25+. No wierd looks, no upset faces, just warm smiles. Sat the group within 10 minutes too. We’ve also caught a game or two here and even the staff was cheering. Good times.

Food/Taste/Flavor: 3/5 – 2 for $25 deal with an extra appetizer. Mozzarella Sticks were good and the cheese was super gooey. Boneless Wings with Garlic Parmesan sauce on the side. The chicken was a bit dry but the dipping sauce was very buttery and heavy.
Main of 6 oz top sirloin and Riblets with Sweet Asian Chile sauce on the side. The sirloin was a bit tough and a cook of medium came out more well done. The riblets were surprisingly good but none of us cared much for the sauce.
Ambience: 5/5 – brightly light, quiet, and decorated like a chain restaurant
Service: 5/5 – responsive and friendly overall. No interaction outside of ordering food
Value for price: 3/5 – very expected of a chain restaurant where the food is decent but nothing special.

Not to busy on Monday when we went. Everything was good to eat. We had the 2 for $25 meals with the chicken salad, Riblet plate with the spinach artichoke dip appetizer. Also, enjoyed a couple of their Margaritas.

You can still find good and cheap food. They have happy hour & 1/2 price for appetizers.
