It was our first time eating at this Applebee’s l – when we walked ugly, it wasn’t very busy at all yet we stood and waited to be seated for about 5 minutes when we were just about to leave, someone finally came out. Definitely glad I brought a jacket because it was freezing cold and even my husband who’s never cold, was cold. It also took about 8 minutes for anyone to wait on us, but our waitress was very kind. Husband had the fiesta lime chicken with fries. Chicken was DRY, the “crunchy “ wonton strips were soggy strips, and fries were cold. I ordered the pick three apps & 3 dipping sauces, which is a nice option – I had the chicken wonton tacos (I guess the theme was soggy wontons because it was), crispy shrimp (by far the best thing between everything) and riblets (which was super fatty and cold). My three sauces I had were 2 ranch and a beer cheese – what I received was a ranch, bbq sauce, and salsa……1 out of 3 ain’t bad I guess was their thought! I asked the waitress twice for my other 2 sauces I ordered, they showed up when we were done eating what we could. Needless to say, I don’t think we’ll be back anytime soon which is a disappointment because I liked Applebee’s in MN, just not here I guess!

I havent been to Applebee’s in over 20 years. Ordered 2 (2 for $25) pick 3. 1 appetizer and 2 entrees deals. Ordered a margarita and a pepsi. My wife got a strawberry lemonade. Our orders were ok. The waitress was great. The door greeter seemed annoyed that we didnt want to sit in the high table section. Kinda made us laugh. After we left we discussed our stop in. Food was mediocre. Had much better food else where. Margaritas had way to much ice and seemed to melt fast. No salt offered nothing on the brim. Got watery quickly. Menu and billing are a bit confusing and we were probably over charged by $20 not knowing how the ordering of sides were an extra charge according to our bill. 3.6 out of 5 stars.

Food here was great , I’ve been to some other locations and haven’t had the same good quality of food like here. Then Rachel made the night , her humor and attitude and her service ,couldn’t get better any where else in the valley. Thanks for a great quick bite to eat before heading home for the evening

We ordered a bunch of food and it was decent. We ordered desserts to go and that’s where they skimped us. Can’t believe I paid full price for this. Don’t order dessert here or better yet just don’t go here at all.

Applebee’s is one of my favorite restaurants, and I always enjoy the food. The wings are unbelievable — great flavor, texture, and seasoning. However, the Caesar salad was disappointing. It was just lettuce with dressing, lacking the full Caesar taste I expected.

Upon walk in I felt an off vibe. The girl with bangs and ponytail she tried to tell my family and I that we couldn’t fit in a booth as we asked for one. We sat down in a booth anyway and sat there for about 15 mins until someone came to introduce themselves as our waiter. We didn’t get any service for drinks or anything at all. We made eye contact many times with the employees and no one came. It was very cold the AC was on blast and an elderly couple next to us felt the same way. Finally someone came to us now 20 mins later. Took our orders then another 15 mins pass to get just our drinks. Our appetizers came out shortly after, but we couldn’t help to notice a family of 2 Hispanics like us were sitting for about 15 mins waiting to be seated with many tables open. 5 mins later the front girl seats 2 Caucasian women with a baby but still the Hispanics are waiting now very upset. The girl didn’t seat them someone else end up doing it. The manager came out to us apologized about the climate but he looked so walked like he just did a line ready to deal with the night. You had an employee wearing tight jeans with a stitch shirt serving people food the front girl had on jeans with the work shirt another guy with regular clothes serving drinks no uniform no structure no manners. This was by far my worst Applebees experience ever and this was my first time at this location let alone in AZ I’m from NY!! They need a whole new management whole new team because what’s there now is disappointing!! Never going back to this location !

Went to Applebees for lunch and only one waitress on duty. And she was busy chatting with friends. They piled us all into her little area, and everyone around us had a similar experience. Either the waitress didn’t care, or she had other interests. We ordered the special (so did the people behind us). It took 45 minutes for us to get drinks. The burger took an hour and it seemed like the cook staff had no idea what they were doing. The manager seemed like a cartoon character. It was bad from first to last, although the greeter helped us as much as she could. Between the waitress, the cook and the manager, it seemed more like the real staff was tied up in back and these angry incompetents were pretending to serve us while robbing the place.

Horrible customer service from start to finish. Was told that my order for a “plain burger with no garnish” would be a 35 min wait. When I showed up there were only a few cars in the lot. As expected at this point the food was COLD and covered in pickles, onions and all other toppings I stated I didn’t want. When the manager Angela was told about this she begrudgingly took the order back to the kitchen where it took 60 seconds to “fix” their mistake. They just brushed off the patty that was covered in juices and proudly handed it back to me… TX roadhouse, outback, fuzzys bar all offer better service and cheaper prices.

My husband and I, along with two of our friends, enjoyed food and service at this Applebee’s, especially because of the waitress, Megan. Once we were settled, she gave us all the time we needed to figure out what we wanted. Then when my husband and I ordered, she pointed out how we could have the two meal choice price even though we had chosen different items — PLUS we could have an appetizer between us. We were amazed that she pointed this out and then we expected the servings to be smaller — AND they weren’t. When I asked questions about the marinara sauce in particular, she took time to answer my questions as well as delightfully explaining why she had so many pens in her apron. All four of us thoroughly enjoyed talking with Megan and offered to share that with the BOSS. When he came over, he explained the quizzical look on his face because he expected that “something was wrong!” That followed by many laughs when we explained that we wanted to tell him that we thought Megan deserved a raise for rendering such fine service. Needless to say, we all walked out with smiles on our faces following delicious meals and experiencing a delightful time with the service rendered by Megan. We certainly were glad to tip her well — AND “hey,” she does deserve the raise we teased about!

Just got back from a terrible experience at Applebee’s in Surprise Az. Took my family out for dinner and nothing but problems. Room we were in was extremely cold. My wife, daughter in law and myself were miserably cold as the AC was blasting. It is November and nice outside. My son and daughter in law’s appetizer was chips and salsa of which chips were stale. We asked for chips that weren’t stale and they brought more stale chips! My daughter in laws pasta with chicken was served cold to luke warm. Waitress offered to remake it but it was only warmed up and served to her again. French fries on both burgers were soggy! No manager only kitchen manager on duty waitress said so I told waitress Alexa who felt bad that we wanted something compensated. She came back with only a $20 credit on a bill that was over $100. I will never go back to this location as they obviously don’t care about customer service! They should be ashamed to serve what they served us tonight! We are long time Applebee’s customers but will definitely re think spending our hard earned money with this company ever again! I felt terrible for my family that I made the choice to take them to Applebee’s!
