Often when you go to one of the common restaurant chains in a different city they sometimes have the same interior layout, menu, or other similar features as one you have previously been to or one in your hometown. So what stands out usually comes down to the service and how the food is. In this case for me, this Applebee’s location shares a similar layout with my hometown Applebee’s restaurant but this one is a bit more modern. This recent visit was the second time I’ve been to this Applebee’s location and it went just as well as my first time. The service was great and our server was very friendly and attentive. Our food came out rather quickly and it was cooked as requested. I ordered a burger and it was very good. This was a very satisfying visit and overall I have zero complaints about this restaurant each time I’ve been here. If I’m ever in this area again I will most definitely come here because of how well my visits have gone thus far.

Incredible experience. When we were there after a long flight, we were family, in our own neighborhood. Ted’s Montana Grill next door couldn’t hold a flame to the good vibes and neighborhood vibe of mine favorite Applebee’s. Hats off to our bartender, who again made us feel like family. If you want to land softly, and get ready for the crucible that is Costco, head to your new favorite neighborhood Applebee’s. You’re gonna like the way you look, I guarantee it.

Tonight we came to our neighborhood Applebee’s to meet friends for happy hour and unwind after work, but unfortunately the experience was far from enjoyable.

Our server, Arely (apologies if the name is misspelled — supervisor Jonathan knows who we’re referring to), did not greet us warmly and immediately gave the impression that she didn’t want to be there. Throughout our visit she was half-listening, walking away mid-order without allowing us to finish speaking, and making us feel like an inconvenience for asking for very basic requests.

Food was brought to our table randomly, and when we tried to clarify or correct things, we were met with attitude. It also wasn’t particularly busy, so the lack of attentiveness was confusing and frustrating.

One example: our friend ordered chips and queso as an appetizer with drinks, but instead all of the food was brought out at once. A side salad that was supposed to come with the meal was delivered before our alcoholic drinks and sat on the table for about 20 minutes. We even tried to cancel the chips and queso before the food came out since it was no longer needed, yet it was still brought out — and the server seemed irritated by the request, as if we were wrong.

When we attempted to order additional food and drinks (we planned on staying and enjoying our night), we were treated like a burden for simply ordering more. A drink was also sent out incorrectly and had to be replaced.

During all of this, Javier, the GM, stood at a distance and watched without stepping in. This is not our first experience with him, and it was very clear that he had no intention of helping or addressing the situation.

Thankfully, Jonathan, the supervisor, stepped in — and he completely turned the night around. His professionalism, understanding, and positive attitude were unmatched. He handled the situation with care, empathy, and a big smile while clearly running the floor. Honestly, he should be the GM.

After asking Jonathan not to send our original server back to the table, we later noticed her across the room with Javier, rolling her eyes and cutting looks in our direction — which only added to the discomfort.

All we wanted was a relaxed, enjoyable night with friends. Instead, we felt dismissed and disrespected. This experience has truly turned us off from this location. If I ever return, it would only be because of Jonathan.

We visited this Applebee’s on 12/19 around 10:50pm. While ordering, our server first pointed out that what we ordered doesn’t come with two side “so you need to pay for the side”, in the most unpleasant way. When she came back to the table we attempted to order more drinks and bone in wings, but she walked away. After walking away she pass the GM and said something to him, I’m sure about us which prompted him to follow her to the computer where she put the orders in. While talking to the GM she was visibly bothered. One would think that the GM would come over to speak with us to find out what we could do to get things back on track. The server put in the wrong order. We had no clue what she heard, ordered or what was even coming. Your manger Jonathan brought out the wrong order and that is where I decided to tell him what was happening. While explaining to him our server passed by and told him our drinks were coming. The same server that walked away and never came back. This server gave me dirty looks, rolling her head and speaking something that I couldn’t hear, but what was clear was that she had a problem with me. One would also think that she should’ve been pulled off the floor to gather herself or maybe to see if she was OK, because this situation was so out of hand. Jonathan was great! He came out and did all the things that the GM should’ve done. I believe everything is fixable and it is clear to see that so does Jonathan. The food was great and so was Jonathan. We generally love this Applebee’s and seeing someone like Jonathan was delightful. I have encountered your GM on many occasions and I have never even seen a smile on his face. From one business owner to the next Jonathan would be the face of my company. He possesses what I would want people to see and experience!

Well I don recommend a place the has a standard on the menu as simple as a appetizer sampler!! Asked for the manager and got same answer We are not allowed to change anything on the menu except for cheese!!! meaning I didn wanted boneless chicken wings asked the get bone in wings on my sampler and got a no for an answer.. to bad I don think ill be returning to this specific restaurant !! Not trying to imply a rule or an its just tha if I wanted regular wings on my sampler I would have to buy and additional order of wings!!

We visited this on 11/2/25, very close to their opening time. We went in an were greeted right away by the hostess. She asked if we would prefer a booth or table. I told her either would be fine, she chose a booth for us. I asked her if we could please have a highchair for our 1 year old. It took her a few minutes, and she came back with a booster seat and immediately walked away. We attempted to use the booster seat but, the distance between the seat and the table was too great, and it wasn’t going to accommodate our needs. Our server overheard my complaint and asked if she could get us a highchair to which we agreed. After she brought the highchair over and we got our baby situated, the manager called our waitress over a couple feet away and began to yell at her for giving us a highchair. He began to point and stare at us while he scolded the server on the floor in front of customers. I watched him go back to the doorway of the kitchen and scowl at myself and my family. I pointed this out to my husband and elderly mother, that the manager just yelled at the server (to which they heard, everyone did) and him staring at us. My husband was very upset by this and told our server we would dine somewhere else. The server and hostess sincerely apologized, but the manager stayed far away. I am writing this to let you know, we will never return to this location to dine, and I believe your manager who opened Sunday morning should be spoken to in regard to his behavior. The other thing to note, is my husband actually works for one of the distributing companies for your location. This is poor behavior to exude and it reflects as very unprofessional on your business. The correct way to have handled whatever problem was unfolding in the manager’s opinion was to come over and have a conversation with us, to explain and find a solution. Instead, he belittled his staff in front of patrons and co-workers, lost revenue, and tarnished this location for the future.

That restaurant used to be great; I’ve been going there for years, sometimes even twice a week. But in the last year, it’s gone downhill because of the terrible customer service. They treat you like you’re asking for free. I’m not going as often anymore; I think we should look for other options.

Dear customers,

On 11/06/25 me, my daughter, and grandchildren went to Applebee’s on 40th 80011. I immediately felt the racism as soon as we walked in the door! All the Hispanic workers made it painfully clear we were not welcomed there. They gave us dirty looks, or stood in front of us with these cold blank stares.
After the first drink the next one were watered down, the waitress never checked back on us, we had to flag her down 95% of the time, once asking another waitress if she could ask her to come to our table, and the manager was just as racist as the rest of the staff.
My daughter in this day and time as hard as the economy is on us still left the waitress over a $20 tip that she definitely did not deserve! We were given dirty looks the whole time we were there by at least 8 different employees. This is a terribley racist staffed Applebee’s, it’s nothing like it used to be.
I think the whole staff needs to be retrained on giving good, and fair customer service to all their guests, not just the ones who look like them. Very upsetting, disappointing, and disgusting treatment twords our family. I give this Applebee’s less than one star, they deserve zero stars!!!! Don’t ever go here!!! There customer service is the absolute worst!!
