We ordered the combo appetizer platter. There were no lids on the marinara and ranch sauces. Of course the containers spilled in the to-go container and my mozzarella sticks were soggy and the ranch was all over the bottom of the container.

This Applebee’s in Grapevine Texas is very close to the Springhill Suites were we stayed. That was our main reason for trying – and the fact that we have not had any bad experiences with any we have visited. The waiter that greeted us was nice- he informed us that it would be a wait if we dined in due to short staff. We opted for the Bar to do take out and have a drink. The Bar waitress was wonderful- she was friendly, fast , and very helpful as she worked the Bar Patrons and helped the other two waiters with the floor Patrons. The signature cocktail- she fixed was good with a nice kick. We ordered the Bone in wings and the Oriental Chicken Salad. While enjoying our cocktail- the bar waitress bought our carry out order. It may have taken all of 40 minutes- which was fine as we enjoyed the spots tv and conversation. One back to our hotel– the wings was hot and flavorful. The Chicken salad- fresh, crunchy, and good also. The prices were reasonable- Applebee’s is a consistent chain throughout. Today we tried another out of town Applebee’s. This one is in Yonkers New York. We always do dinner but decided to do lunch at this one. It had the same layout but seemed bigger. The atmosphere was nice with the music and mutiple station tvs all around. Our waitress was friendly and very helpful with our questions. We got the lunch specials- oriental chicken salad, tomato basil soup, and chicken penne pasta.Very tasty and reasonably priced.

Ordered online for curbside pick up. Arrived 15min after my pick up time and had to wait a total of 1h3min to get my order. Only when I asked for a manager to cancel my order, the food magically appeared and it was not even hot anymore. Meaning it’s been ready but no one would deliver it to my car. Had to go in twice and was told to wait in the car. Plus, the restaurant wasn’t even busy. Worse customer service.

Terrible place for a nice family dinner experience. Slow service and when brought food no silverware. Handed cheap plastic utensils with no urgency to fix the problem. No small appetizer plates to enjoy food on. Ordered stake medium and received it still raw. Server seem to not even care. Took it back to get re-cooked and took so long so I ended up canceling my order. Never did get the alcohol drink order. Lacks management and leadership. Don’t eat here.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Service was horrible, never ever have been treated a certain way in my life. Waited almost 15 minutes for a waiter to come to our table just for drinks. Wasn’t even our waiter for our section, couldn’t get any straws and when asked for utensils we were told there was not any but the table behind us arrived after us and was given everything they needed. Just had to walk out after 45 minutes of having absolutely nothing. Never again will I come to this location.

Our Server let us know that they had just come off a huge dinner rush, so they were scarce on a few items, including silverware. No problem. He gave us some plasticware. The food was just okay. I had the Chicken Bacon Ranch Sandwich. The bun was greasy and on top (too much butter?) and the chicken was thin and tasted greasy, not savory. I added ketchup just to give it some flavor. My son’s burger…honestly you couldn’t see the burger unless you lifted up the bun. It looked like a bun sandwich. I wasn’t impressed at all and I felt like for $14.99 a meal, we would have been better off at McDonalds…or for the comparable price, Chili’s. I was disappointed because I hadn’t been to an Applebee’s in forever and was anticipated a quality meal. Maybe the jokes on me. Our server was fine and regardless of the rush he was attentive.

I always get the Oriental Chicken salad. I normally order it for pick up. So, the dressing is on the side. But I forgot, so it came out with the dressing on it. It must have had a cup of dressing on it. I normally like the dressing, but not two tons of it. It was drowned. I can never eat a full order. They no longer sell half orders. So, needless to say I eat the leftovers for 2 more days. But this salad wouldn’t of lasted 30 minutes., Even if I would have wanted that much dressing in it. Plus there was barely any almond slivers or chow mein noodles or even slaw (cabbage). I ordered a Bloody Mary and it didn’t come dressed. No lime or seasoned salt on the rim. Certainly not a piece of celery. My friend had the Long Island it didn’t have a thing with it either. My friend went and got salt on the rim and got me a lime. Poured in another glass. She did this herself because no one ever came to the bar to help her. Even though our waiter saw her.

Awful place awful service. The only place ever that took 40 minutes to get water out….. the servers don’t write down the order and just bring you whatever they think you ordered. And they don’t bother to check with you if the dish that they put down after an hour was the right one or not! Would never go back wasted 2 hours for nothing

Two drastically different experiences. First time was ok. Second time waiter tried to blame me and others for slow food, forgetting orders and mixing up cards. I’ve done this job, I know it’s not hard but that’s why you don’t smoke weed before you come into work. I won’t be coming back. You get 1 chance to make or break it.
