I visited Applebee’s in Mount Pleasant, Texas, and this was a very disappointing experience. We sat at the bar, and our server and bartender, Stormy J, clearly did not want to be there. She was curt, unfriendly, did not smile, and treated us noticeably differently than other guests at the bar.
I specifically ordered a frozen margarita, but what I was served was not frozen at all. On top of that, the drink tasted extremely bad and nothing like it should. When she noticed I had barely touched it and asked if I did not like my drink, I told her no. Her only response was “Oh,” and she walked away without offering to fix it or replace it.
This level of service and drink quality is unacceptable. I expect much better from Applebee’s. Management seriously needs to address both the customer service and bar quality at this location.

This was our first time to ever grace Applebee’s. It was a good experience. You really must check out the Pickle Fries, with a Mexicali Ranch. We enjoyed them. We ordered the Quesadilla burger and the Quesadilla salad. Bost dishes were quite tasty. The establishment wasn’t overly busy, so our wait staff, Kayla, took real good care of us. She appeared to know her position well. She communicated well and was patient with us as we didn’t know the menu. I was impressed for my first visit to an Applebee’s.

Our bartender was very nice. She (Odette) gave my wife a few drink suggestions. The Espresso Martini was amazing, she loved it. We also ate and food was great! She gave us recommendations and made us feel very welcomed. She knows her job!! Thank you Mt Pleasant Applebees for another great experience!

Service was awful. Stormy was dismissive, impatient, and kept walking away while people were trying to talk. It was obvious people were getting much better treatment than others. My drink was melted as well.

Ordered a steak which i wanted cook well done no pink. Gof the steak it had pink in it still. This sfter i waited 40 mins to get my food did not understand the wait cause it was not busy at all. The waitress came and took the steak back to get me another one that was supposed to be cook right which it was not i waited another 30mins on a steak that still wasnt cook right wasted a hour of my time not to even get to eat a good meal

Food was sent back and came back a second time incorrect. Had to eat alone and no refills offered while my husband sat. They refunded his meal minus his drink that was full when we left. This location is consistently a throw of the dice. He ordered a well well done steak. Came out pink both times. When I order a med well it comes out tough as boot leather. I don’t want another gift certificate only good for this location. Just please do better. And the ultimate trio I ordered looked like it was put together for a toddler. Nothing like it used to be.

Expect your mileage to vary. My wife and I are used to eating at locations that are consistent, and know how to serve alcohol. At this location, we both ordered a dirty martini to start with. We were close to two full shots short in both drinks, and they used vodka by default, instead of gin, which is unusual. We are used to being asked, if they typically use both.
We then ordered two old fashioned whiskeys, hold the syrup/sugar. Both were decently made, but regular ice was used, meaning you had to drink it quickly.
We ordered garlic parmesan wings as an appetizer. Pretty decent. A little undercooked, but not in the raw sort of way – more of a ‘won’t fall off the bone’ sort of way. Pretty decent though.
We both also ordered a variant of the top sirloin, rare. Sides (veggies for both of us,) were decent. The top sirloin was cooked rare on both plates. Top sirloin is a cheap, firm cut, but it was the best they had. As far as sirloin goes, it was decent. Nothing wrong with it. Shrimp was a little undercooked on both plates, meaning it didn’t have much of a ‘pop’ when you eat them, and they still tasted of ocean fish, but overall, edible.
We both ordered salads. Fairly plain, low amounts of cheese, extremely basic (just lettuce,) with small amounts of dressing. Wife needed to ask for extra dressing.
Atmosphere was fine: plenty of room for improvement, but nice enough for a couple when we went (1530 in the afternoon.)

The food was so good. Very delicious! The staff was very friendly and attentive. We got our food quickly. All was well, except i had to fight the flies buzzing around my table and food i could not eat comfortably or in peace. There were 2 of them. There are plenty of parking spots. $34.00 for 2 people. Server Zackery was a sweet heart. Very good server!

Got my food today and literally all they did was just throw it in the microwave. My blonde was dang near hard as a rock! The beef was hardly any and cheese was the giveaway that it had been microwaved. A waste of time and money. The hostess was nice but the cooks definitely didn’t care and rushed this meal.
