Our server was very good and our food came out hot and as ordered. They have a full bar with a nice selection of draft beer and liquor drinks. We ordered 2 alcohol drinks, 2 dinners and an appetizer, all were very good.
The restaurant was very cold and we almost didn’t stay, but the server said she would ask for it to be warmer. Another couple came in and left almost immediately after sitting down and stated it was too cold to stay. We heard other quests make the same comment and people were sitting around in jackets & light coats. Finally, when we began to leave it started getting warmer after 45 mins of wrapping up in double sweaters, even my husband went to the car to get a jacket and he is almost never cold. We heard the server tell many guests that she had asked the manager to make it warmer.
I guess after several complaints from the guests something was finally done. We will be back for the food and good service, but if it’s that cold again, we won’t stay.

This is by far the absolute worst restaurant I have ever been to in my entire life. We’re from Norman so we’re not usually out here. We decided we were gonna stop and eat today because we haven’t had Applebee’s in probably 10 years… biggest mistake.
Table that was behind us had basically the same problems as us. They were super upset. Their food was wrong. There was three of them, and they only ended up getting two of their orders. Forgot the child’s food.
Our table of five all ordered ..thankfully the food came, but the drinks were forgotten, including the alcohol drink and then when we asked her about it, she said “oh I completely forgot I must’ve not heard you”. I reminded her that we asked for the extra shot of tequila and then she remembered.
Next came out the food I asked for my steak to be medium. It came out rare. There was bright red blood in it like literally as if it were still alive my son’s steak, who also ordered a medium was well done.
The chicken inside of my daughter’s chicken Alfredo tasted like canned chicken.
The buffalo wings that we ordered on the appetizer were cold and old you could tell by how dry they were.
My son ordered a side of yogurt with strawberries. It literally came with tiny slivers of strawberry not even a whole strawberry. The yogurt was bad. It had a horrible taste to it and looked curdled. There was chunks in it.
This was the worst experience I’ve ever had at a restaurant and I would not recommend anyone to come here. I do plan to call higher-ups about it because this has literally ruined us on Applebee’s. It’s heartbreaking that this is a service we received, not to mention the manager and the two other servers that were taking care of the entire restaurant that happened to be empty we’re sitting down eating food, playing on their phones and when we had problems, we tried to bring to their attention they could care less, including the manager. The table that was behind us that was also very upset and expressed to us that this was a bad service literally could not wait to get out of the restaurant.
I usually don’t have problems like this at restaurants and if we do, the team is usually pretty quick about fixing it, but again I’ve never had this many problems at one restaurant before maybe like something being wrong or forgotten but not this many.

We were visiting Ardmore Satuday afternoon March 7, 2026. We wanted a sit down lunch. My partner requested Applebees as it is one of their favorites for a quick meal on the road. As we entered the establishment there was no host to greet us. We waited for a good while before someone came from the back noticed us and returned to the back to have a host seat us. We ordered our drinks and appetizers. The pretzels and cheese dip is why the food got a 2 stars they are great. On the other hand I ordered the Cajun chicken and shrimp. The shrimp was good. No complaints. The chicken was subpar and im not sure how to describe it. It wasnt the seasoning it was the meat itself or poorly prepared. Our waitress was inattentive and I had to leave my seat twice to ask for service.The side my partner ordered didnt come until the end of our visit we were ready to go when it arrived. My partner wanted to try it since it had arrived. It was one of your “signature sides” it was a tiny portion for the cost and wait. From what we noticed most of the waitresses lounged in the back while customers peered for them, waiting patiently to request service. We now regularly visit Ardmore, not a high achievement in itself but it is a fact. We left dissatisfied and disappointed. I turned to my partner and made the decision that we will not be returning due to the subpar service and entrees. We have visited other establishments and had far better experiences than this Applebees.

Food was good. Simple presentation. I tried the four cheese honey pepper chicken Mac n cheese it was really good, the chicken was so tender and yummy. Also got a steak and cooked to preference the first time. I did try one of the specialty drinks with a vibe shot…honestly wasn’t impressed with that or a regular margaritas but not worth complaining over. Atmosphere was great cause barely anyone was there. And the waitress was honestly the best part. I’m sorry I forgot her name :/ oh!!! The fried tajin pickles fries with ranch was baaanging!

Came to restaurant with family. Waited at front for awhile. Servers and bartender did not acknowledge us. Finally got sat. Wasn’t able to all sit together because tables were dirty. So we sat at 2 different tables. Service was slow even tho the place was almost empty. Server put in order. Ordered a beer as well. Bartender made it and it sat at the service well for quite some time. Bartender was not busy at all and just left drink at well and didn’t bring it out to help server out. When we got drink as you can see in picture was super below the pour line. I inquired to server about amount, and she stated they have a standard pour. If this is the standard pour for yall, you’re definitely not giving your guest the correct amount. I feel bartender is very lazy and not attentive to guests. Server was new, but she did her best. All the food was delicious and not to long of a wait. All fresh and hot, no complaints there. I wish I could’ve gave five stars but the service and the bartender alone made it drop. Maybe talk with your bartender about helping out her fellow server.

Morgan on Friday was amazing, will come back for her! Saturdays crew needs additional training or just learn how to bartend. Waited for 15 minutes on a very tame night probably 10 people inside, everyone had drinks but me and my girl. Never acknowledged besides them cleaning out section at the bar but never ordered. Didn’t feel welcomed at all.

A group of us (6 this time) meet and eat at various places once a week. We thought we’d give Applebee’s one more try, but nothing has changed. The food has always been good, but the service is still terrible. Waiter brought menus and took drink orders. Took probably 10 minutes to return. He took our order, and food came at acceptable time. Waiter never came back. Glasses never refilled. Waited and waited. We finally had to flag him down to get our tickets. After about another 5 minutes, He brought them, and probably 5+ minutes later came back and got them, took them over to cash register by the bar, and laid them down. He went and waited on someone at the bar, took food to several tables, and another tables order. Was easily another 10+ minutes, and we finally got a waitress walking by to help us. Finally got our credit cards back, and after being in there over an hour, headed out… Finally.
Now, there were 15 booths and tables occupied, and 7 people at the bar. We only saw 2 people waiting on all the tables and the bar. Hire some help, and we’ll be back, because the food is really good.

We came in with a large party of 23 people. We were seated immediately. Our server Kaine was amazing. He was very attentive and kept drinks and food coming. I would highly recommend coming here with your family and ask for Kaine .
