There are better Applebee’s locations in town. This one was very middle of the road. The inside is run down. The booths are very worn and a lot of them are ripped. They need to be re-apolstered. It was very loud. There was a big family celebrating a birthday. We went out with a couple friends. The appetizers were good. The food was about the same as always. The boys had hamburgers. The girls had chicken. Nothing special or over the top. They were missing the gummy candies they normally put in their drinks.

The absolute worst service and food I have ever received ever at this establishment! The pictures are of the bland cold food we left behind after paying and being offered to have my mashed potatoes microwaved because they were still cold! After I stated that if I wanted microwaved food I would have just ate at home then never did see our waitress again. After I paid for my food and didn’t get a receipt from the machine at the table I had to ask the girl who sat us to get us a paper receipt since we never did see our server again, she proceeded to go get the server who I watched print out three receipts and then disappears, and of course all the manager can say is she’s been out here I’ve been watching her yes she was on the floor but never once came and checked on her table after she asked if I wanted my food microwaved she worried about sweeping and cleaning and forgetting to give service to the paying customers! What makes me the most mad when I told the manager this has been the worst experience and her statement was why because of the potatoes! I will never ever come to this Apple bees to eat again and that’s sad because before we got there I told my husband this is one of the best ones in Wichita well they proved that absolutely wrong tonight!!!!!

First impressions are important , we asked if we could sit at one of the empty high tops in the bar and we’re rudely told no and we’re then seated in a corner. The people who came in after us , maybe 15 minutes later were then seated at one of the many high top tables that were available. Coincidentally our seating area contained 3 POC tables , and us Mexicans. It may have nothing to do with that but it was noticeable. Our waitress was fantastic!! She was on it for the drink refills and great with sauces etc. Food was good, I got the new hot honey chicken and did not like it , the chicken texture was weird but the rest of the food good. Don’t read into my seating comments too much. I never notice things like that but this felt off and maybe it was a weird coincidence.

Me and my 3 kids came to eat here for my youngest son’s 3rd birthday and we had nothing but a great time since we arrived! Jimmy was the best server he was so nice and welcoming! And he came to sing happy birthday for my son for his special day which was awesome as well! Also got a $10 coupon for next time ! 10/10 will come back again!!

When I went in this applebee not only did it stink smell like they needed to freshen up the place or mop maybe but as I was being seated at my table I couldn’t help but to see piles of food all under my table even before I sat in the booth bread lemons I’m talking everything on the floor I think that’s disgusting because when you clean the table the booth aren’t you suppose to clean the floor under the table that to me screams you didn’t clean the table either and when they put the silverware on the table it had white stuff dried out on it it should be silver and my husband over heard the employee saying that they need to teach the dishwasher how to clean better I’ve worked in restaurants before mainly from Denver co but its all the same Wichita restaurants have been so nasty since I’ve been here and I think they should raise more awareness about sanitation and what cleaness is in glad I didn’t eat here I can only imagine the food

We ordered sirloin steak a 6oz and an 8oz.. On both plates the steak was full of grisle, hard to cut and chew. I had broccoli that was over cooked and a four cheese Mac and cheese which had melted cheddar on it that was solidified because it was not hot. The whole meal was a mess. I couldn’t eat it. Husband had French fries and it’s hard to spoil those. The waitress did well, the restaurant has a good atmosphere. The money we were charged would have easily paid for 2 lbs of Prime sirloin steak with money left over for sides.

Slow service – seems like they didn’t have enough waitstaff. I got the chicken pasta dish. The pasta had no seasoning, and the chicken had WAAAY too much salt (actually, it was the sauce on the pasta that was too salty) to the point that it was inedible. The artichoke dip was good, but it sat too long before they brought it out. Overall, could have been much, much better.

I did an online order I will never do that again in order the 2 for 25 I order the steak garlic butter and skillet with the waffle fries and grill chicken when I say that thin piece of steak was damn near raw blood was dripping it was so bad I was like this can’t be real somebody was mad got fired or something, something told me to come back next Friday before I leave a review I came back today at 04/18/2025 and order the same exact thing this time I sit at the bar and told them everything the bar tender Mr.
Shaun and Manger Mr. Michael was taken back yet very accommodating I order my food but made sure it was right and it was jaw dropping amazing food was great service was amazing and just the right tone as far as atmosphere

Sat there for like 20 mins without anyone at all coming over to say anything about getting us waters or literally anything. Even though other tables had been sat next to us and were served drinks and having orders taken. Multiple servers passed us, two managers passed us and looked at us and didn’t say anything. We stopped the hostess that was seating others next to us and asked who our server was, which was a guy that passes us multiple times, definitely seeing us. We ended up just leaving. We will choose another location if we ever want their mediocre food again.

The service here was awesome. Our server was Gloria Mendoza, she was amazing. Kept our drinks filled, food came out fast and desserts were nice and hot and perfect.
We have 2 tables but she managed it all with ease. The blue Aloha Mana margarita was delicious too. The Brownie was delicious too topped with ice cream.
