If I could give them no stars I would. We went to eat at Applebees in Joplin tonight, was told there was gonna be a 20-30 minute wait so we sat in our cars. My sister had it pulled up on her phone where they would tell us when our table is ready. An hour later, nothing but the app telling us we were next in line. I went inside and they said they were still waiting on a table so I went back outside. We ended up all leaving because we had 2 toddlers who were going crazy and we were all super hungry. My sister kept the wait thing on her phone to see how long it would take. 2 HOURS LATER, they finally notified her that the table was ready. Horrible experience.

The waiter wasn’t very nice from the start and when we brought up to her that one of our cups was dirty she just scratched the stuff (btw it looks like mold) off it and said it was a crack in the cup. All they did was take that drink off the tab. They also forgot to give my Mom her birthday dessert but we ended up leaving anyway because of the service. Yes our waiter was probably stressed and I understand that but I really wish she would have been more polite about the cup especially on my Mom’s birthday.

This location has been a hit or miss to say. The first time I went the service was awful and the food was worse. I got the short rib’s which was dry and very over cooked. Our appetizer didn’t come until we had already started eating our meal. They said they wouldn’t charge us for it which they did, we didn’t complain about that since we did eat it.

We went in about 30-45mins to close and our server was great. She didn’t seem bothered by our family of 6 and was inviting and still suggested apps which we got a few and our food was mostly good. I do not recommend the Caesar dressing they had it was very bland to the kids and when I tried I sent them back and got house salads instead. But the service will always bring me back to a place. Thanks a bunch!

Came to Applebee’s for dinner with a colleague on a Sunday. At 7pm there were plenty of available tables. We chose steak sandwich with fries, and chicken breast with mash. Food didn’t take long, with a Belgian beer it was pretty perfect. Friendly service too,nothing fancy, but a good meal at a reasonable price.
