We Had a very chill and relaxing meal with Marla (did I spell it right?) who took SUPERB care of us and everyone else. She had all the tables clean and organized, and took the time to explain the drink specials to us. I took a photo of the menu to compare with what they served, and as you can see: they did a nice job. The crispy chicken was crispy, as was the bacon. We were happy with the meal and service.
The dining room itself however needs a deep cleaning. The carpets need to be shampooed because that’s the first smell that greeted us at the door. The banquets need steam cleaning. All the paint needs touching up, especially tableside. These are not things that the staff should be expected to do, they have their own jobs. Applebee’s should bring in a professional cleaning crew each month to do these things right.

Food was made incorrectly, it was barely warm, the server was just standing around, only took our order after another server sent her to us. The bar was closes because they had no bartender on duty so you couldn’t order and drinks from the bar, other than beer. Overall the manager on duty gave us credit on our bill but the service and food quality have left us reluctant to return. We have given them SEVERAL chances over the years BUT they have never been able to be consistent or a good place to go eat.

### Review for Applebee’s in Raytown
I recently visited the Applebee’s in Raytown for my daughter’s birthday dinner with a party of seven. While the restaurant was nearly empty and seemed slow, the overall experience had its ups and downs.
Upon entering, I noticed the entryway floor was sticky, and there was visible food on the floor near the booths. One of my daughters even spotted a spider on the floor. Additionally, there was noticeable dust on the lights and TVs, which gave an impression that the place wasn’t particularly clean, although it wasn’t dirty either.
However, the hospitality we received was almost impeccable. Our waitress took our orders and brought out drinks promptly. Every time we were about to ask for something, she was right there on the spot, anticipating our needs. This level of attentiveness greatly improved our dining experience.
Our order ranged from quesadillas to salmon, and everyone in our party was satisfied with their meals. There were no complaints about the food, which was well-prepared and enjoyable.
Despite some cleanliness issues, the great service and good food made our visit to Applebee’s in Raytown a positive one.

We went again. Ordered Pepsi got root beers. Out of 57 sauce. Steak over cooked. Blah. Server was nice tho. Cute hair, Chloe.

Our favorite Applebee’s on 40 hwy closed so we had to go to Raytown. We were there for an hour before we even got our salads. Worth mentioning we were one of five tables in the whole place. Took and hour and a half for three of us to get our food. The fourth plate came out 15 minutes later. Mostly slop.

Waiter was a little awkward & needs more training but did an okay/fair job. The setting of workers need to be a tad bit more professional but they are nice. My FOOD was GREAT & hot. My drink was delicious as well.

Other than the host whom was amazing it was the worst experience at a restaurant I’ve ever had. Lied to by the waitress (Bryelle A.) and lied to by the manager. I took one bite of the riblets and almost vomited. They decided to gas light my fiancé and I into making us seem like the problem both for their food and advertisements. I sent my food back and didn’t trust getting any more food from that facility. I’ve gone here about two dozen times in the past and never had an issue but this was awful. I will never come back to this location. Also, never put unsanitized objects on food, this is literally food contamination ((see photos) alcohol wipes were thrown on my riblets.) As soon as we got home my fiancé started feeling sick from her food.

I ordered online and curbside. I ordered a Oriental Chicken Wrap with fries. The wrap was good but the fries were terrible. They were cold and soggy. The order took 20 minutes to prepare before pick up was made. There is no reason for bad fries. They are cheap and so not take long to make fresh. Thank you.

Service is terrible, drinks were messed up and didn’t get the fixes until we asked 30 minutes later after he said that he would “have it right out”. Food has been in the kitchen for 30+ minutes and we keep hearing loud noises that sound like the kitchen is on fire with people yelling.
Other customers only got the drinks after the food even. This is unacceptable for a fast food restaurant that is utterly slow.
Food is 5 stars, but for this wait (over an hour) it’s a little questionable if you should come here.
