A-Team Travels
After a very relaxing surprise from my husband. He and I visited this Applebee’s for dinner. We didn’t know what to expect, as this was our first time at this location and in this area period.
Upon entering the establishment we were greeted with a warm smile and a welcoming demeanor by April. She was super sweet, helpful and seated us promptly. She took our drink and appetizer order.
We ordered a Long Island Ice Tea to share and my husband got boneless buffalo wings, while I opted for bone in garlic parmesan wings. She also introduced us to Damien who shared in the effort of serving us for the evening.
For dinner I ordered the Bourbon Street Chicken and Shrimp and my husband ordered the Steak Dinner. The drink was expertly crafted and totally balanced, which is uber important when creating this classic cocktail.
The food from the appetizers to our dinner was excellent. Made to order, accurate, hot and fresh. Just like we like it. As you can imagine we were stuffed by the end of it. Now, before y’all start, I know getting “stuffed” is not inline with our New Year resolution goals. I’m workin’ on it OKAY!!!
To wrap it up this experience was the best I’ve ever had at Applebee’s. Would I return? Heck yeah, and I’d love to be in the company of April and Damien again, as they made the experience stellar.
From the customer service, to the quality of the food to the value for the money we spent it was all excellent. Keep doing what you’re doing over there. You all should be a model for Applebee’s everywhere and for that matter a lot of restaurants these days. Thank you so much for showing us such a wonderful time!
So look y’all. Get on up and go get you some great cocktails and grub. Be sure to tell the crew “Hello” from us. Remember, as hard as they’re working over there, take care of those who take care of you. Enjoy! ✌

Excellent lunch with family! Wonderful updated menu from the last time we visited! Impressive, I must say! The facility was conveniently located right off the highway and clean throughout! The food was wonderful and nicely portioned! Service was prompt and well versed with the menu! All around, great atmosphere and experience!

When their food is good, it’s great. But last night they were totally off. Salmon was way over cooked and no seasoning, broccoli overcooked and potatoes were big cold globs. I didn’t eat half of it and didn’t bother to take it home. That’s a lot of money going into the trash.

The last two times I’ve eaten here the service was fantastic. Tonight April was our server and she was amazing. The food was good. Only negative our booth seating was very small and then we moved to a table and the entire back came off the chair.
I’m glad the service and food has been better as I was about to quit coming. We need good places to eat in Excelsior. Glad to see improvement here.

This location is the absolutely worst Applebees I’ve ever been to. And that’s saying something. Today we stopped in at noon to get a quick bite. First we waited 10 minutes just for someone to acknowledge we were waiting to be seated. Once we ordered we then waited another 15 minutes until the appetizer came. About 10 minutes after we got the appetizer the burger got set in the window. The chicken sandwich never appeared. 45 minutes later the waitress was told the burger didn’t have onion strings on it so they had to fix it There was still no sign of the chicken sandwich in the window. The waitress came to tell us what was going on, but we told her just to forget it. We didn’t want it anymore. Meanwhile, three other tables got sat and within 10 minutes had their meal. Not once did they offer to comp the appetizer and beverages we had which were sodas. Not once did a manager come to our table. Only the waitress seemed like she cared that we never got our food worst experience ever and this isn’t the first time. If you want Applebee’s go to the on in liberty

The food is absolutely gross at this location. The staff were on there phones and not paying attention to our section at all. Waited 20 minutes just to get a refill. I would not recommend.

Last week, I dined at Applebee’s Grill + Bar and upon reflection, I found the experience to be satisfactory. Our waitress provided attentive service, enhancing our overall enjoyment. Despite the considerable ambient noise stemming from music and television broadcasts, the quality of our meal was commendable, and the service continued to impress. However, the pricing appeared slightly elevated, albeit within an acceptable range. In summation, the visit was deemed positive.

Overall such a bad experience. Waited an hour and a half. Got there at 3:15pm and left at 4:30. Only 2 meals, the 2 for $29.00, to be exact. Checked on maybe 4 times by the server Stephanie B. We both asked for medium rare steak and as you can see in the picture, received well-done. A touch of pink if that. On top of that when I did let her know once we got the check, she didn’t even bother to say a simple sorry. When she turned it looked to the both of us that she rolled her eyes. Only 3 other tables with two people at each, ridiculous service. Tell me how it takes an hour to cook two 6oz steaks, green beans, and mashed potatoes? I couldn’t let the server know that both of the steaks were overcooked, because she didn’t check on us until she brought us the check. As if I wasn’t already having a crap day, the crap service didn’t help. The other times I’ve been to this location (very few) the service has been average. But for it being 3pm and only 3 other tables, (8 people max including us) I just can’t see how this is excusable.

We ordered 2 salads. Before burial arrived the server flicked a piece of food.from my husband’s drink and then sat it down as if that action was acceptable? Why didn’t he say, let me get you another glass when he saw it had food on it and just get another? Then when our salads arrived my Caesar had rotting and bad greens in it. See pics. Terrible….as you can see the fryer clearly needs to be cleaned, as those are burnt bits of who knows what in the bottom of the burnt/broken wontons.The cheese sauce on the Mac and cheese was chunky and a whole 3 tomatoes or pieces of tomatoes, on my salad. Not worth $50 that’s for sure, super disappointing!!
