Friendly staff food is terrible. There was no tomato and the lettuce was terrible. They were out of long bacon but had bacon bits of you wanted. There was little to no sauce. The breading on the chicken was pretty much non exsistant. The fries given was a handful. The take out container you seen pictured was small. None of the meal was eaten in the restaurant.

We sat at the bar last night at our server was awesome as always but we wont be coming to eat here for awhile due to the food again.
My boyfriend and I came here for a date last night. We were not happy with how our food was. I asked for my steak to medium rare, and it came rare. The very first cut I made, blood came squirting out of it and my plate started getting more blood than normal. I asked for sautéed mushrooms and onions for my steak and I had a lot of raw onion. My boyfriend told me to put that to the side and eat my burger and he would fix my steak at home. My boyfriend and I also ordered The NEW big Bangin’ Burger. We both got regular burgers with just a tiny bit of sauce. Could hardly taste anything. So, we thought it was a normal burger. They were out of broccoli, and that was one of my sides but was a main thing in the chicken broccoli Alfredo that my boyfriend had ordered. He didn’t mind but it was what he was after. Our appetizers were better than our food.

Its always a blast when we go here. Most of the staff are amazing. The waitress we had this last time is all over the place, unable to maintain her job. She got frustrated and decided to just change my drink order because she decided to say “Im not waiting all day for 1 soda. Here’s a water.” Besides that, this is among my favorite date nights locales to go to. I recommend the sweet Asian Chile wings for appetizer and the broccoli chicken Alfredo (when they have broccoli).

Went back again today for lunch after giving it a one star Sunday. Had my same food server Heidi .I have 15 + years cooking in restaurants she had them lower the cheese melting time and add more cheese…result absolutely delicious.

Great burgers and we used to go pick up. Fast and they had everything correct! It was easy and one of the places where the to go food is as good as dine in!

Applebee’s Devils Lake is really great yes they were out of a couple things not a big deal cuz all their food is absolutely delicious service by Deanna was excellent everybody does their part places clean bathrooms clean really nice atmosphere God bless!! Happy halloween!!

The few times I go here its 50/50 with food out weighing the service yet depends on who is the server. For this certain visit, poor service from waitress and only had a few tables in our section. My wife ordered chicken and mashed potatoes that looked like it went through a microwave. The chicken was dry, potatoes had the double patty look of a cold scooper sent through the microwave I honestly thought it was a biscuit. I ordered rib rack which wouldve been bland to taste without the overflowed sauce on dry rib meat that came with fries that seemed it got cold and put into a microwave. That rubbery texture all across the board with both meals will happily make me avoid Applebees in Devils Lake from now on.
