We are traveling cross country and pulled of the interstate to grab a quick meal. Our waiter was sweet and professional. The food was the worst we had ever been served. The steamed broccoli was old and overcooked and the romaine was brown and wilted. The grilled chicken breast was overcooked or microwaved, very tough and rubbery. Our other meal was the same poor quality. A very greasy and overcooked burger with soggy fries, swimming in grease. We cannot recommend this restaurant chain at the Albert Lea location

Have repeatedly waited over 30 minutes past pick up time to receive my car side to go order. Just to then receive food that is no longer warm. Had to either call or go inside to get my order. Defeats the purpose of ordering car side. Nowhere does it say that I need to call when I arrive to receive my order? Very unsatisfied.

Waited 20min to be seated with one family in the restaurant and 2 people at the bar. Ericka waited on us and was extremely rude and passive aggressive. Another person brought the food out and slammed it down on the table and wouldn’t even say a word or give it to who ordered. Truly wild. Please do not leave a response to my review suggesting me to click on a link to share more information, I’ve already given all the info in this review.

Friendly staff and great food! I’ve always loved their chips and dip, and the salmon was amazing! Clean building and staff were sanitizing constantly. Server was very nice and attentive. Im from out of town, but will definitely stop back here again next time I come down. Overall, a great experience and fantastic food! Thanks for all your hard work!

Pulled in off the interstate . They were very busy and the hosted refused to seat us until the kitchen caught up. As to “not confuse the servers ” we asked if we could sit at the bar for a drink and then seated , she didn’t offer we had to ask.
Then the bartender didn’t even acknowledge us with a hi folk I will be right with you or anything. Then a man who was obviously a regular came in sat next ti us and he was acknowledged. As a bartender and servers am very understanding. But they didn’t even try!

No wait time, got there kinda early so it was quiet. We all put in our drink orders, mixed up my daughters drink. Put in our food orders they messed up on my wife’s but they did comp. My son never got his refill, but I’m nitpicking, overall there were a few hiccups but with food being delicious I will be back, all ready got my meal picked out. Lol

The food sucked. Ordered Chicken Parmesan fettuccine when it came it was barely warm. I stuck my finger through the center of the chicken to check the temp, Lukewarm. Send it back, and it came back lukewarm.
Manager came up and said that “He” re-cooked a new plate of chicken Parmesan fettuccine himself. He lied right to our face!
New plate? So then tell me why does this chicken have a hole in it where I stuck my finger in, on the first plate? Only Good thing about the visit was the awesome waiter and they refunded me 15 bucks. We stopped going to Applebees awhile back because of food issues. Thought we’d give them another shot, different Applebee’s, same story. Will probably never go back to an Applebee’s again!!!

My boyfriend and I were in Albert Lea and decided to grab supper at Applebees. Everything was great and I’m a huge believer in giving credit where it’s due. I believe our servers name was Scott- he was AMAZING and the best server we’ve had at ANY restaurant we’ve been to. His customer service skills are top notch, and he made the experience top tier.

ALWAYS PROBLEMS!! We went there and got the 2 for $30, portions were small, and we left there both of us still hungry and out $30. We went there today and got the endless chicken wings for $12.99 each. The fries were cold and the meat was warm. Too many problems for us, were going elsewhere. The photo below, definitely not worth $19.99. Skimpy portions as always.

The baby back ribs were very good. Late night happy hour prices with numerous beers and spirits only $5. Large menu of appetizers salads burgers entrees etc. Excellent service.
