Went for a lunch before an appointment in Beaver Dam.
It was not busy at all.
Our drinks took about 10 minutes to get. Ordered appetizers and we were told they were out of chicken wonton tacos. Fine, but then they brought them out without any toppings. My husband and I ordered steaks.
He wasn’t able to cut it with the steak knife they provided, nor could he chew it enough to get the steak down. Mine wasn’t bad but nothing to rave over.
We chose the broccoli for one of the sides, big mistake. We couldn’t eat it due to the broccoli being SO salty. My husband joked around saying we could use the broccoli on the icy roads on the way home. The cook actually came out to visit with the waitresses right before we paid the bill.
Shoulder length hair, not tied back wearing a winter beanie hat and stringy beard. Completely not anyone I’d prefer cooking my food. Not because of the looks but because the lack of food safety precautions. Last I knew….hair & beard nets were highly recommended if not required. I doubt this cook knew what either one was.
We didn’t complain, thats just not us. We just do not go back. We do not recommend anyone going there either. My husband always tells me we did it for the experience. But this time, he actually encouraged me to leave a review about the food. Service wasn’t the best and everything took a bit longer. Our bill was basically $100.00.
He was highly disappointed with the quality of the food and service for the cost of the bill and thats a first since I’ve been with him for14 years.
Not worth for us…others may feel differently. Everyone’s opinions are different.

The wait time for our food was ridiculous. The place was not busy and had over a 45 minutes wait. When we finally got our food, the only thing hot were the plates from sitting on some type of heat source. My food was cold and the chicken tenders on there was very small. Also apparently the staff in the prep area doesn’t read what is on the order because mine was prepared incorrectly. Very disappointed in the whole meal.
The only good out of the visit was that the bartender was very good. This was on the 23rd, so you can check your schedule for who was working.

Megan our server did not check on us once. Took our order while she was sitting down in the booth across the isle. She dropped off the food and walked away without asking anything. Did not come back until she had the bill. Food was amazing & only reason for a 4 star.

Went to check out this new place out saturday and only have good things to say place was packed and our apps and entree came out very quick for having the whole building full and with people waiting to be seated plenty of staff Busing tables getting food out overall well run operation will be back soon and often. Burger was cooked how i asked and long islands were good as usual. highly recommend applebees/ihop of beaver dam

At no fault to the server. My order had syrup in the food in my pasta and had them make a new one but we sat over 45 minutes my food came out when the rest of my family was done eating. The manager didn’t seem to care at all. We won’t be back. It took forever to bring the food out and the order was still wrong.

Third time. Waitress argue in plain site with each other about where they serve. Spill water and give me a cloth to clean it up. Ordered a drink and took 15 mins to get in a place with 3 customers in the building. Food took an average of forty minutes each time. New building same service
