Our group of 3 decided to eat here for dinner. The parking lot was somewhat full, so maybe an indicator it could be busy. The hostess took our name, and we waited to be seated (about 20 – 30 minutes). Our wait time might have been a little longer than normal, and it appeared they may have been short staffed since there were a number of empty tables and booths, but a lobby full of guest waiting to be seated.

I recently had dinner here with friends, Jason our server was amazing. He provided excellent recommendations and outstanding service. He came prepared with a selection of steak sauces when our food was delivered. He kept our drinks full and was attentive without being intrusive. The food is awesome and with the 2 for $30 menu you really can’t go wrong. I would recommend the bourbon street steak or the bourbon street chicken and shrimp. You will want to start with the pretzel sticks and end with triple chocolate meltdown. Be sure to ask for Jason if he is working you won’t be disappointed.

We came for lunch, and it wasn’t at all crowded, but it still took them 15 minutes to decide where to seat us. We ordered, and then the waitress pointed out that we could order some of our dishes as part of their current special, which would get us a free appetizer. It would have been nice if they had pointed that out up front (highlighting the specials).

We arrived with police officers on scene. We are able to get a table. Witnessed waitress complaining and being very loud to other employees. We were given water by one person, order taken by another, food dropped off by another, after we had finished our appetizers, a waitress came upt of us and asked if we wanted dessert, we then told her we were still waiting for our food, she had no idea what we had even ordered. She then starts to complain to us about her night and blames the kitchen. A few minutes go by and another person brings us our food. About half way through our meal the other waitress comes by and asks how everything is and drops off our receipt, while we are still eating and leaves again. I finish my food and we wait several minutes to get their attention for a box for my partners food. We were very unimpressed with the experience. The way we were served as well as the atmosphere. Waitress at the bar was very loud and rude to other customers and was using very inappropriate language. I have always enjoyed the food and drink, but now just might second guess coming into eat and order for pick up. I work in the service industry, so I understand the frustration, but when I get off from my job and want to be a customer I don’t appreciate the business I go to and the staff being very unprofessional.

Jake didn’t give much of any service, served appetizers, and pretty much didn’t come back to take our order, nor did we get a drink refill. He was busy busting tables in someone else’s section. The manager did come over and helped us out towards the end, so that was appreciated.

Our server was phenomenal. It appeared they were short staffed and this gentleman rocked it. He literally had half of the restaurant and was the nicest, most prompt, cordial server. The food was fair. Our appetizers were good the Wonton Chicken Tacos; but the main course was just “o.k.”. Place was clean. Not too bad for a Sunday lunch.
