Went on a weekday. It was busy but not crowded. The staff are friendly. The app plate was fully disappointing. The riblets were tough and chewy. The wonton tacos were wet and had an unpleasant aftertaste. The pretzel breadsticks were great. Paid with a card.

We were seated right away and our waitress was very attentive. Other staff also stopped to see how we were doing. The food was excellent. Two got steak, one got chicken parmesean with fettuccine. The kids meal had lots of options and a fun, folded placemat with activities and a crayon tucked inside. We have been here before and have always had a positive experience!

I recently visited and our server Teriah convinced me to get the Tipsy Cupid. So Delicous!! We also ordered the 2 for $25 with the O-M-Chz burger and waffle fries, along with the 6oz sirloin, mashed potatoes with butter, 4-cheese mac, and a brownie bite.
I want to start by saying the service was great — my server was attentive, friendly, and made sure we were taken care of throughout the visit, which I really appreciated. 10/10 would recommend her as a server and she definitely deserves a raise.
Food-wise, the OMG cheeseburger wasn’t my favorite. There was a noticeable smell that kind of threw me off. The rest of the meal was decent, but that part stood out to me.
One thing I also found a little uncomfortable/strange was the heavy set manager going up to tables and asking guests if she was “bullying them.” I’m sure it was meant to be playful, but it came across a bit unprofessional and caught us off guard.
Overall, the service from our server was definitely the highlight of the visit. Thank you so much for taking care of us and bringing joy to our day. You rock:D Never change!!! hope to see you soon! Switch to nights please

My family and I went into Applebees and our server Victoria was amazing! She checked on us multiple times while we were there making sure our drinks were full and our food was good. She had amazing customer service and was very professional. Our food came out in a timely manner. The restaurant atmosphere was really good as well! Will definitely be coming back!

My boyfriend and I wanted to find a cheap place to eat, we decided on this location and couldn’t be happier. The two of us got a multiple course meal for 30 bucks! Our server Nicole was very nice, and she brought refills without being asked! We will come again 🙂

I’ve had issues with the salads at this place for over a year now, and I’ve never had the same issue at any other location. I’ve called in the past, and while the host or manager was very nice in taking my call, I just get told they get “bad salad” or “bad lettuce mixes”. Other items are typically fine. Tonight is about the worst it’s ever been besides the one time I had to call this location because they served me salad that was so fermented it was producing an odor upon opening it at home. Ordered for pickup, wings were ice cold after a 15 minute wait past promise time. The salads again, almost every piece was rotten, beginning to rot, or literally just liquified, fermenting, and putrid. You can see the picture for comparison about what was actually “edible” versus what would probably make me sick if I ate it. I don’t have time every single time I order at this location to call a store that is already busy, and to be only offered a replacement or a “coupon” to come back and get something else. Genuinely at this point it’d be great to just be refunded and in the future I’m just going to stop ordering this item. If the salad this location is receiving is this fermented it doesn’t make sense to me why someone doesn’t speak up and refuse to stop serving it. Your cooks/whoever prepares this item is clearly aware this is an ongoing issue, yet someone is allowing it to continue to go out the door like this. It’s appalling. Literally serving inedible food.

I went to Applebee’s this week and had an all around amazing experience. My family’s food came out in a very timely manner with no issues. We had a server named Lillian who was great. She had a very happy attitude, checked on us frequently, and made sure our glasses were always full!! Definitely recommend:)

My boyfriend and I (both Navy veterans) visited the Applebee’s in Cedar Falls yesterday for the Veterans Day free meal. We were really appreciative of the gesture, and overall, the experience started out great, the food was delicious, and the service was quick and friendly.
However, something did rub me the wrong way. Our server made a point to mention several times about “add-ons or upgrades” to our meal since our meals were free. It caught me off guard — we were already aware the meal was complimentary but having it pointed out like that took away from the appreciation the offer was meant to show. I also overheard her saying the same thing to other veteran tables around us.
I completely understand that working those days can be tough, especially when not everyone tips appropriately, but it would’ve felt more genuine if the focus had stayed on thanking veterans rather than reminding us of what wasn’t included. Just some feedback for management, the meal and the gesture were great, but a little extra sensitivity in how it’s presented would make a big difference.

Applebee’s is a good place to eat. Environment is relaxing and the food is always good. The service is the best. I have been to the Cedar Falls Applebee’s a few times and each time I have had the same server, Victoria. She is always pleasant and friendly with a smile on her face. She is consistent with checking on us and making sure everything is to our satisfaction. Always a wonderful experience!
