Applebees in Edinburgh IN. Bad service! I ordered ribs, they were undercooked and very hard. The waiter couldn’t be found. So I told the hostess and she responded: “I can’t do anything about it” so I told her to tell the waiter. I found another waiter and he changed my plate to another set of hard ribs… I was unable to bite the meat out of the bones. They were so hard that it was difficult to cut them with the knife! I asked them to put them in a to go box and call it good. The waiter said he would take them out of the check. When he brought the check he charged for the mashed potatoes because I nibbled on them…

I don’t know about the other review but we were super quick to be served and food was hot and fresh when it came put (only like a 10 minute wait or so). The all you can eat chicken was fire even the leftovers my only mistake was my lightweight ares getting a corona lol. Service was nice and I’m pretty sure I didn’t tip and if so I apologize because this was good service.

I came in yesterday (1/19/26) at 1pm for lunch and left around 2:30 to 3:00, at the time I thought the service, the food, and the atmosphere were great. I had the chicken fettuccine pasta and it tasted great at the time. But starting at midnight I’ve had pretty bad food poisoning and have been battling it all day. I don’t hold any malice towards you guys but I feel like this must be said to help you your overall service in the future.

I have been thinking about whether to write this review for weeks, and I finally decided I couldn’t stay silent after such a horrible experience. In my 55 years, I have never witnessed an employer speak to an employee the way I did at Applebee’s. What I saw and heard was shocking and completely unacceptable, especially in a professional workplace. A woman, who I later learned was named Rachel, was screaming at an employee in the kitchen. She was aggressively yelling about something involving her son coming in to eat at the restaurant. The level of anger was disturbing. I clearly heard her call the employee “stupid.” I was honestly shaken by how vicious she sounded. I am a grown man, and even I was uncomfortable sitting there listening to someone be verbally attacked like that. I can only imagine how terrified and embarrassed that employee must have felt. I would never return to work there. I asked our server who the woman was because I couldn’t believe what I was witnessing. Learning that she was in a position of authority made it even worse. I used to enjoy coming to this Applebee’s, but after seeing how employees are treated, I will never support this location again. I cannot, in good conscience, spend my money at a place where staff are treated with such disrespect. What I witnessed was the complete opposite. Do better Applebees.

We haven’t been here in a very long time and the food was delicious. We got the 2 for $32 along with some of the star-spangled sips. My Bourbon Street Chicken and Shrimp was delicious! I also enjoyed the All-American Mucho cocktail. My wife ordered Four Cheese Mac n Cheese with Honey Pepper Chicken along with the Blue Bahama Mama cocktail. She said hers was better than mine. Haha.
The kiddo went all out and got something super fancy. He got the corndog with some strawberries and yogurt. We ate it.. so that’s a win.
Not a whole lot of people are were there when we showed up, but the staff was very friendly and prompt. The service was great and food came out quick.
Oh.. and there was a baby changing table in the men’s restroom!

I went with a friend of mine specifically to try the new Garlic 6 oz Sirloin with Garlic Mashed Potatoes – I believe I proved I am Not a vampire-
With the second lesson being that I love garlic more than I like dating.. so, to eat this deliciousness again, I will gladly remain single

Although I was not brave enough to keep the second side of Broccoli and instead paid for the upgrade to the three cheese Mac n Cheese.
My tongue and belly basket were very grateful for the upgraded side.
Everything was very good and I will definitely be back!
We also had to get some of the pretzels on the appetizer menu!

Server was new and a little lost, but at least she showed up to work. She was really nice. Food was good. I had the 3 cheese penne pasta without chicken. The best I could do for a vegetarian meal they did not have any black bean burgers, hey did have some salads but I was bored and tired of salads. The place was clean not very busy when we went.

It’s an Applebee’s so you know what to expect. Still, we keep coming back because the service tends to always exceed expectations. I also like that the managers are present and visit the tables to see how everything is doing. Parking is abundant given that it is part of the mall complex.
