I decided to give this location a 2nd chance. They must’ve got new management because we were all very pleased with our dinners. Manager came around and was checking on tables. Food was hot, correct and delicious. Our waitress Emma was fantastic! She filled our drinks, removed dirty dishes and checked on us several times. Whatever they are doing at this location, Greenwood Mall, I hope they continue to do. We will be back!

My fiancé took me out for lunch today so we (regretfully) came here. I ordered wonton tacos and got the 8oz steak with garlic mashed potatoes and broccoli. He got the new cheesy smash burger thing & both of them were terrible. The tacos, mashed potatoes and broccoli was good but his burger was awful and he barely ate half of it, which tells me it was really bad. My steak I ordered med rare, the first one she brought out was very well done so she took it back and brought out another which was cooked ok but it was probably the toughest steak I’ve ever had. I could barely even cut it and only ate 1/2 of it also. Our server was good but overall we paid $60 and both of us would’ve rather had fast food. Overpriced and terrible quality food with a touch of bad cooks. Definitely won’t go back unless it’s for a drink & the tacos which is still very unlikely. I’m not a complainer when it comes to food, but I definitely will leave reviews and let others know my experience to places I go. Seems like Applebees has REALLLLYYY went downhill. We were incredibly disappointed.

We hadn’t been to an Applebee’s in well over a year, because the food is always just mediocre and the service usually is horrible. With no more late night dining options in our town we recently had to resort to revisiting our local Applebee’s. The menu was pretty good, with lots of options of the usual kind (burgers, chicken, pasta, salads). We ordered the pretzel sticks with cheese dipping sauce (a bit over done but generous with the 2 dipping sauces so that was a plus!) and as and entree I ordered the Loaded Steak Fajita. The steak was a tad tough and would benefit from being cut thinner, lots of veggies but way too many onions. Overall it was decent. My husband got the Whiskey Bacon Burger and said it was quite tasty, with a nice size side of fries (though they could use a bit of seasoning to make them more interesting). For dessert we tried the amazing Apple Fritter, which was the star of the meal in my opinion! Definitely leave room for it!
The highlight of the visit though was our waitress Amanda. Friendly, fast, there when we needed her but not hovering, quick with the refills. We chatted with the manager after our meal and told him to hold on to her! Hopefully we now have a new late night meal option, as long as the current manager and Amanda stay on!

My granddaughter and I came here for lunch,politely asked our Waitress if I could pay in cash, because the last time I came here ,again, couldn’t find waitress ,but the male manager came around so I told him I was paying with cash and he immediately acted annoyed.Today the food was good but wanted to take the rest with us. Although not busy , there may have been a total of 6 tables occupied,waitress was all over the place.I kept waiting for her to come by but got tired of waiting. I ended up leaving without the food I paid for and didn’t leave a good tip like I usually do. I will not be returning this Applebees.I hope you all get your staff and service taking care of. Kathy

Mary, the manager, charged .50 cent for to go ranch after spending 100 on lunch and drinks at her mostly empty, mediocre restaurant. Heather, our server, was outstanding and deserves better mgmt . Mary is awful.

We had a great time Victoria was really the highlight of the night, we went out for our grandma’s birthday and she gave us amazing service, checked all the boxes great attitude timely with getting the orders taken and did a great job making sure all 9 of us got everything we ordered.
