My daughter and I decided to have a day out, we took an approximate 1 hour drive to Edinburgh premium Mall, we did a little shopping and decided that dinner would be nice. We decided to go to Applebee’s which was just across the street. We were immediately seated and it didn’t take long for our waitress to come to our table. At this time it wasn’t very crowded but the look on our waitress face showed exhaustion. Nonetheless she was very kind, she approached her table as previously stated she provided her name, ask how we were, and proceeded to take our drink order. She returned to see if we were thinking about an appetizer and at the time we were not, we were still reviewing the menu. We settled on two for $25, my daughter is 14 so this was perfect. We shared cheese sticks which she absolutely loves, she had a cheeseburger I had the 6 oz sirloin paired with broccoli and fries. My daughter’s burger came with fries as well. I can’t complain much about how long we waited for food, we almost got it too fast. Seems like we have the cheese sticks in no time but honestly they were fresh and pretty dog gone good. Not long after we received our dinner, by now I could feel a little tooth pain so I ate just a bit of my broccoli and fries but I refuse to touch the sirloin. As for my daughter’s Burger, bun was a little hard, perhaps they attempted to toasted. The meat itself wasn’t very flavorful but with a lot of ketchup that 14-year-old was content. Our waitress was very consistent in checking on us which I could appreciate, the only downside is that I would have to request certain things that, otherwise you wouldn’t, such as place setting, napkins etc. She was always gracious and pillow so we tipped 40% of the bill.

After spending $79, I honestly feel cheated by the service I received at Applebee’s in Taylorsville, Indiana. The wait times were extremely long, and when our food finally arrived, it was cold.
The customer service was absolutely horrible. Staff were unhelpful and showed no urgency or concern about fixing the issues. No apologies, no effort to make things right.
For the amount of money spent, I expected much better. Between the cold food, long waits, and poor service, this location is not worth it, and I do not plan on returning.

If I could give 0 stars I would. BAD service. Everyone in our party was served food. My husband and I waited 15 mins ( there were some other big parties understanding a lot is going on) before asking able our food. The waiter goes to check on our food takes 20 mins to tell us they didn’t even make our food. Then another 30mins past. When we got our food everyone at the table had finished. My mother-in-law was having a hard time paying her bill on the tablet when asking question the waiter took her card put it in and didn’t show her anything and paid for it. So she had no idea if he even charged it right wouldn’t give her a receipt. So she has no idea if he gave himself a big tip. Then sent the manager over to show her a a paper that had other people paid bills and tell her that was the only thing he could show her. Not even give her a bill with only her name on it. Needless to say we will not be going back and we will let people know it was not a good experience.

We went here for a late lunch. The waitress did not get our appetizer out before our meal (even though we ordered it with our drinks). My daughter didn’t receive the salsa that came with her quesadillas, even after we asked for it. I ordered a burger for my husband who was getting gas and they brought it out in a to go container?? I’m not sure why.

Long wait for food, no broccoli but wanted to upchage for Mac and cheese. Ended up with mashed potatoes, waffle fries, and regular fries I didn’t order. Small portions. Will more than likely not go back. Our server however, was great. She was working well with what she didn’t have and definitely tried her best.

Wasn’t happy with this place. Food was cold. Waitress came to cleat table and asked if inwas finished and I told her yes because it was cold. She said, “Ok.” Amd just blew the fact I said it was cold off and took the plates. Didn’t even offer to replace it or an apology. She was very nice otherwise but she could have been a bit more concerned I had wasted my money on food I didn’t even eat!

Tried the new grilled cheese burger with tomato soup and the crispy pickle fries. Burger was very salty but the soup was delicious. Pickle fries came out very hot but were good with the dipping sauce, just wish there was more. Service was fantastic. Wasn’t super busy for lunch. It’s an Applebee’s. If you like Applebee’s, you’ll like it.

I ordered delivery through DoorDash. I ordered mozzarella sticks for an appetizer. They were delicious. I ordered the Whiskey Bacon Burger with a side of coleslaw and fries and the Mocktail on the Beach. I highly recommend the Whiskey Bacon Burger. The burger was cooked just right and had great flavored and the crispy onions topping the burger made it even more delicious.
