For starters when.We go there they said they was in middle of shift change took10 mins to get seated. Nice seated took another 10 mins for the waitress to come to our table the manager finally got us so water and a pop then I ask ask for a drink from the bar when we ordered our food. Took over 10 mins for her to make it to the bar to order it. We seat there for along time in that time had a lot of time to look around the restaurant and saw so much water damage on the ceiling and black mode where the ceiling has leaked. The waitress came back once and got me a refill. Then waited about another 10 to 15 mins for our appetizer when it came the wife asked for ranch I timed it. It took over15 min and still no ranch wife spoke with the manager to let him know only thing he ask was what table we was at and the waitress. Brought us the check. And get this she was waiting to charge us for the ranch that we never got. She said she was going to just take care of the check I didn’t want her to I told her I would pay for what I had. Not for the ranch she never got. From the manager on duty to the waitress came to the building that has black mold this was a bad time . I will not be back to a Applebees if this is how they are. And please don’t reply and say the Chillicothe management team will reach out that is a big problem when the manager with salt and pepper hair doesn’t do his job I think he was seating In the office and not on the floor

Ordered the strawberry lemonade and had a dead fly in it!! Was a long wait to flag down any staff to make a new drink. Got the new chicken parmesan, should have known it wasn’t going to be anything than average. And got a $15 salad, which tasted worse than a $4 bagged salad. Only finished our meal because of the price,
otherwise see no reason to return.
Took another trip Thanksgiving night after a long day of traveling. Had a limited “holiday menu” but it was just basic menu with no specials. Prices were jacked up 3x original price. Guess corporate relys on people who eat fast food on a holiday evening and can’t cook with their own families. Didnt even stay let alone try to order

Good luck if you forget your wallet. They’ll close an hour early, not answer the multiple phone calls, and stare at you through the windows. I get closing early, but if a table clearly forgot something important, you could expect a phone call soon. The waitress was great, no complaints about her. Whoever is in charge is a different story.

I love coming to this Applebees, my fiance and i absolutely hands down choose this store over any other. Tonight as we sit here, it was busier than normal. There are NEW bartender and server. If not new then we have not seen them before. Anyways there was a table that left with an older couple and there children it looked like. The girl cleaning the table went to look at the receipt then said pretty loudly to the bartender “they didn’t even leave 10% tip. Then they both began to talk crap about them for a few minutes. I don’t like that, yes i understand getting upset for not getting a good tip but you do get something an hour and then I’m sure you made other tips today. Anyways by far the worst experience we have had here…. But our server was amazing and the food is always good. Get yalls selves together… if i ever get you as my server i wont top nothing but a couple dollars.

The waitress was absolutely horrible!! She paid little attention to us. We ordered appetizers that “the cook forgot to put in” after we had to ask where the heck it was at. I asked for ranch for them and after 5 minutes and waiting an hour we finally just asked for the check. Then she had the nerve to try an charge me for ranch I never got on top of no food. She did comp our drinks because she didn’t want to own up to her sucking at her job. Never will I EVER go back there!!

I am mind blown the service we got not to mention our food…ordered the pretzel app with extra beer cheese. Opened the cheese to find it was barely even covering the bottom of the cup and not even enough for a half pretzel. Waited over 10 minutes on hold and tried to call back with no answer on a car side delivery. Restaurant barely had anyone in it to boot. Finally we had to go retrieve it of which was sitting at the bar to where our food was cold. No one even acknowledged us grabbing the food. Unacceptable.

My experience at this Applebee’s was unacceptable on every level. The moment I walked in, I was completely ignored. The host didn’t greet me, didn’t acknowledge me, and actually walked away without saying a single word. I was left standing there with no direction, ultimately forced to seat myself at the bar—where I was once again ignored for far too long before anyone even bothered to look in my direction. The lack of basic hospitality was astonishing.
Unfortunately, the service was only the beginning of the problems. I ordered the 2 for $25, and every item that came out was cold. Not lukewarm—cold. The appetizer was cold, the entrée was cold, and the Bourbon Street Chicken & Shrimp arrived without any of the sizzling presentation the dish is supposed to have. It looked and tasted like it had been sitting out long before it reached my table. There was absolutely no attention to quality, timing, or standard food handling.
This visit showed a complete breakdown in customer service, staff attentiveness, and kitchen execution. For a national chain, this level of disregard for guests and food quality is inexcusable. I left extremely dissatisfied and with the clear impression that management needs to seriously reevaluate training, oversight, and overall operations at this location.

We had an awesome lunch yesterday. It had been awhile since we had been in there and it’s definitely changed. Super friendly staff, Joshlynn was absolutely great serving our food and stayin on the tall boys lol. The toasted cheese cheeseburger was delicious. I could eat a gallon of the tomato dipping soup, friggin delicious.

I came in with my family and oh boy. I believed this was just a typical Applebee’s as we were visiting family in town but DONT COME. The bartender I think her name was Kaylie or maybe Kayla was the worst server we’ve ever had. My husband waited 25 minutes for his beer and she gave us attitude as if we were the problem. He almost just left because of it but we were already here. The food was actually great and our actual server was nice but this gave a lasting impression. I told my daughter that we visited and she said why didn’t we ask. The last time she had good food there was back a month ago and they even messed up then because the server seemed to want to leave!! But the Manager at the time remade their food and even came to the table to apologize. She couldn’t remember the name but he was a polite gentleman with a beard. This is Applebee’s……can you not find people who are decent here or what?

Worst experience ever we were seated and waited 10 minutes for them to take our drink order. It took another 15 minutes to get our drink order. They kept complaining that they were shortstaffed. We ordered the two for 25 OMG burgers that never came on the sizzling plate the burgers were burnt and crispy. There was no cheese sauce very little and it was cold and the fries were so salty that you couldn’t even eat them the waitress was not impressive at all. She act like we were being rude to her. She was calling ridiculous worst experience ever there will never go back the manager act like we didn’t know what we were talking about so that’s the last time we will be there.
