We tried their 2 for $25 items. The Chicken Parmesan Fettuccine was just ok. Nothing about it making us wanted have it again. The chicken was tough.
Very short staff, only one waitress handling the late lunch/ early dinner crowd. Waiting times for anything; many folks were patient. She kept asking other staff for assistance. She had to explain what was needed.

The price is very reasonable and if you go at times of deals it’s even more reasonable. The drinks are ok but skip the holiday ones as they are very weak and the after taste is pretty bad but the cuervo-rita is the bomb. The burgers are tasty and the boneless wings are amazing and generous portions. The serving staff is very nice and pleasant. They check on you the right amount of times and never make you feel ignored or bothered. I eat there at least once a week but normally like twice a week. Highly recommend the Dorothy lane locale.

Right on the front of the building there are signs stating they close at 9pm and kids eat free with purchase of adult meal. We got there a couple minutes after 7pm, waiting over 25min for drinks to be brought to the table and even longer for food. He ordered all you can eat boneless wings, as soon as they brought out the first round he ordered a second. The waitress said okay and went back to put the order in. After 30min of that order being put in. She brought us the check and told us that the restaurant actually closed at 8 and the kitchen is already shut down, this was at 8:20pm. Never did the waitress tell us they were closing at 8 and that the window sign was incorrect. She also didn’t inform us that when he ordered the second round of wings which never came. They at least took a little bit off the price of the all you can eat deal, but still tried charging us for the kids meal when there was 2 adult meals on the ticket. They never asked if we wanted drink refills either. It is absolutely unacceptable to allow customers to order an “all you can eat” meal, and not bring them anything but the first round. Waiting 30min for food that is never going to come is absolutely absurd. If you want half decent service this is not the place to go. The restaurant and bathrooms were also very dirty, floors look like they haven’t been cleaned in months. Bathrooms had biohazard smeared all over the stall doors and walls. It was very disgusting, I can only imagine what the cooking surfaces look like.

The place looks great, with average apple bee decor and look. The staff was friendly and helpful so great on them. Food took a little longer than I expected for the food to come out. Took as long as for you to start thinking “Man where is the food” and then right then it showed up. We got cheese sticks appetizer and Mom got the 6 Oz steak with macaroni and cheese and mash potatoes and I got the chicken cheese and bacon with mash potatoes and fries. My food was good except for the fries. Her steak was supposed to come out medium well but came out well done which is an easy enough mistake. The whole order came up to 28$ plus some change which wasn’t that bad. I would say, solid performance. Just afew small detail off

My husband and I decided to finally use a gift card we got from Christmas. We haven’t been to Applebees in years and now I remember why. Horrible experience! Ordered food for pickup that I went and got myself. Food was gross. Tiny portions missing item’s. Manager wasn’t even apologetic when I asked for the missing items. Had to stand there a while to get our side items and had to ask for a bag when the worker handed them to me. Then when I got home realized more was missing. Watery continents. The chicken was tough, dry, and cold. The appetizers were cold. The fact I came out of pocket $10 of which $8 of it was a tip! That is more than what this food is worth! We will NEVER be back and I will let people know how bad it is. Stay away from the Applebees across from the Dayton Mall!

We stopped here for dinner, but didn’t get so far as to be sat at a table. Not because they were too busy, but because there was no one at the host stand. We stood in the doorway for nearly 10 minutes with no acknowledgment from any of the staff. We made eye contact with several waitresses and the bartender and no one came over to even take our name. We would have understood if there was a wait, but to be blatantly ignored was incredibly off putting.

Walked in with my family on a Saturday at 1pm. No host, waited 10 minutes. Walked out with 3 other families. The place was not busy. Looked like it was only the bartender working. The place was depressing. Pretty sure I saw someone light up a cig.

Unapologetic bad service. People having to go into the kitchen to find staff because 100% of the staff was in the kitchen, not a single employee on the floor, behind the bar, or hostess. Bad service without an apology, didn’t even get to eat any food because it took so long to “bag up”, ended up getting a refund and leaving empty handed.

Placed a pick up order, husband showed up early, sat there for forty minutes after telling them he was there for a pick up order. I called the manager who had the nerve to say he just got there to pick it and it’s been ready. I hope her birthday dinner is as enjoyable as she just made mine. When my calm as a cucumber husband gets frustrated – we won’t be back. She was not the least bit apologetic. How did not one server ask him what he was waiting on while he sat there that long.

Went on a Saturday night at 8pm. No one was there and we found out why. Service was horrible. No one at the table to sit us. Bartender saw us but ignored us. After about 5 minutes she said someone will be with you in a snotty voice. No one still there to sit us after another 5 minutes so we left. We will not be back. Place lost our business.
