Stopped in for a birthday celebration. The restaurant seems dark to us during the day. It wasn’t very crowded though and food came out relatively quickly. A family member ordered the new burger that comes on a layer of melted cheese. We couldn’t find the cheese there was a tiny amount under the fries making them soggy. The chicken sandwich was flavorful but over cooked.

FOOD WAS AWESOME me and my son got the 2 for 25$ me and my boyfriend got the 6$ marg and i got the shark bowl ! My server was Felicity & She was horrible service was terrible ! I been in the industry for 13 years & i am not the type to run my server & she clearly doesn’t know how to table touch & she made herself work harder by running back and fourth i even kept my mouth shut to see if she would observe the table at least instead of having her guest ask multiple times for things at least thats what i do in the industy! The girl with the bunny ears was very helpful and such a awsome spirited person very positive & also the bartender was helpful as well i tipped those 2 i am very good at tipping i just dont feel as though she deserved it , i got served by hailey like 2 weeks ago she was also awesome and quick and always checked in on me & i tipped her $20 i ate alone that day ! I do feel like the atmosphere is very dark and it almost seems as if anyone isn’t happy to work there most of the time and seems as if everyone is faking it to make it !

I will always recommend this specific Applebee’s to friends and family. My wife and I have a regular server, Danielle. She is fantastic. We don’t even have to give her our drink orders, she has gotten to know us so well. She is super friendly and if you go, you should definitely ask to be sat in her section if she’s working. I also love this location because they do karaoke every Thursday and I’ve known the KJ since middle school. His name is Tom and he is good people. He has grown a good crowd of singers that come out weekly to have fun. All that aside, the food is great too. It may not be a 5 star Michelin reviewed restaurant, but it’s definitely 5 star comfort food in my books.

Ok good was pretty empty at 830 pm Tuesday night,just landed at cvg. Female bartender was not a good waitress. Two of us sat at a high top next to the bar. Four others at the bar. Total six guests. She chatted more with the guys at the bar, we were hungry, left Tuscon before noon. Waitress quit a bit.( I formerly was a server), just as I’m about to leave, she finally yells for our order. She’s acting though we are really putting her out. Got the order in, my drink was bourbon otr, what a shy pour!, diner came, one entre,two sides two mx drinks. a few minutes after our diner is set on the table she brings the bill $42. And change, I haven’t eaten the first bite yet, I haven’t ordered a second drink or desert! She asked how I was paying, I handed her a hundred, not a question as how my food is, do I need anything else? (l refill drink? desert? , her only question was”do I need to bring any change back” FOR WHAT DID SHE DO IN MY BEHALF!? WHAT? Entitlement Karen at the bar ,just so u know

Pretzel and beer cheese! Omg..! So hot ,fresh delicious, still thinking about it.. Server was very nice and made sure we had what we wanted.. she was very Kid friendly as well! Over the top!

Good gravy this place is a mess. Multiple tables, including ours were waiting 15 minutes after seating without ordering drinks. It took us 30 minutes to order our food. Our waitress forgot our daughter’s order completely and didn’t take responsibility. The cook was constantly coming out to the bar to watch sports. All of this and the restaurant was less than 1/2 full. The hostess and host in training were the only ones who knew what they were doing.

ADDENDUM: 2nd visit, the conditions had deteriorated considerably. On my earlier visit I had given them five stars, but things were considerably different on this second visit five months later. The staff was not very cooperative and the same problem that we had with the tables 5 months ago was was still there. The surface of the table felt like old syrup, pancake syrup.
I am sad to report that on my earlier visit I had given them five stars, but I was thinking maybe on this visit I would give them 3 stars except that I was very unhappy with the staff. The seating host was very slow in getting us seated, and the waitress was very discouraging in her response to our asking that the table be prepared better. We announced that we should probably look for a different place to dine and the waitress was fine with that offering no options but perfectly happy to see us leave. Thus 2 stars.
There were staffing problems, which our waitress, Felicity, circumvented. It is not often that I offer my highest rating for a restaurant, but this one goes to it. She was very regular at checking the levels of our drinks, very regular about coming up to the table, asking if we needed anything else. She was very consistent in making sure that we got our veterans discount. Highly recommend.

They have a cockroach infestation. I am not sure if they ever got rid of it. I called them and reported it to corporate. Never heard anything back from them. I reported it to the health department. Hopefully something was done. Btw, the cockroach was in my mobile order (money bbq boneless Wings) I am pretty sure it was in the bbq sauce. I have pictures of the lovely bug.

We used to frequently eat at Applebee’s in florence ky. We’ve noticed a decline over the years but tonight was our worst experience ever. I can safely say our meals were so bad they couldn’t be finished.
The new chicken parmesan dish tasted like the sauce was an off brand canned variety. I work with parmesan every day. I know what it tastes like… and this wasn’t even close. It made me sick to try to finish it.
My husband’s riblets, that he used to love, were so tough he couldn’t separate them with a fork and knife. I think he ripped 2 off with his bare hands and said that’s it.
Our waitress was very kind, even though she got my drink wrong, I drank it and didn’t say anything. She is the only reason I’m giving a 2 star rating.
The place was dirty. The steps had material coming up that my husband and the hostess tripped over. Our table was sticky and if you look at the photo I attached I don’t think this crud is supposed to on the booths. Most of them had it but not all. And it’s not “rustic” looking.
Sad to say that was our last meal at this location. I sure hope they turn it around. I’ve been going to this Applebee’s for over 30 years. So sad to see it in such bad shape. I can remember when you had to wait in line to be seated any night of the week.
