I ordered a well-done steak but it was raw inside — completely inedible except for a few bites from the edges. The shrimp had issues too, and shockingly, the cheese had paper inside it. For nearly $80, this is unacceptable.
This is not the first time I’ve had problems here. Last time, the steak was burnt black; this time, it was raw. Two bad experiences in a row show zero consistency or quality control. Very disappointing, and I will be filing a complaint with management.

I ordered the Bourbon Street Chicken and Shrimp and my food was just as dry and tough and horrible as it was when I left the first review about how terrible it was. I talked to the bartender Tae who took my order and I also spoke with the manager on duty and I told them BOTH SPECIFICALLY THAT I WANTED MY CHICKEN MOIST AND NOT COOKED HARD OR BURNT OR DRY. I’ve had the Bourbon Chicken & Shrimp dish SO MANY TIMES and I know EXACTLY how it’s supposed to be prepared. Whenever the right person prepares the dish it’s impeccable. The manager himself told me that he was the one that would be preparing the meal. When I received the meal the presentation of it was very nice, but when I tried to cut into the Chicken it was very hard to cut. It was cooked/ burnt darker/longer than it should have been cooked. It was very dry and very tough. I told the bartender who took my order how I was not happy about my food. But instead of me not sending it back I attempted to try to eat it. How or why would I get some hard burnt dry chicken after I told the server and the MANAGER while placing my order exactly how I wanted my food cooked. Then for the MANAGER himself to be the one who prepared the meal and I receive such a horrible meal. That’s absolutely terrible and I’m very very disappointed. I’ve not been back to Applebees since this because they obviously don’t have the proper cooks there that they need that’s able to prepare the Bourbon Chicken and Shrimp dish the way it should be prepared. For me to speak with the MANAGER before my food was even cooked and to still get a horrible meal it’s just completely ridiculous. So then after letting the bartender know that I didn’t enjoy my meal, I then asked for the manager again. And the only thing the manager said was that I should have come to him before eating it. Which I didn’t eat all of it but I didn’t send the dish back before continuing to try to eat the mess. Because I had told TWO PEOPLE ONE BEING THE MANAGER that I didn’t want hard dry tough chicken. I said please make it moist juicy and tender because when it’s prepared correctly that’s how it is! I was not happy with my food at all. It was the worse experience that I have ever had at Applebees and like I said I haven’t been back and I don’t know when I’ll go back again. Because right now the food is being prepared in the most horrible way! My pictures may not be able to show the toughness and the darkness and the dryness but my tastebuds could definitely tell and I also showed it to the manager on duty! It was absolutely horrible. And also my friend girl had the exact same dish and she complained about hers being too hard and tough and dry also.

I ordered a salad, and 8 Oz top sirloin was not so good, a lot of nerve and a dessert that was very good, and 3 coors ligths

Stopped by Applebee’s during lunchtime. Restaurant was kinda busy. Seated promptly. Our server, Domonique, was very friendly and helpful about her knowledge of The Big Easy menu items. We ordered the spinach artichoke dip, the Bourbon Street chicken and sausage and the Quesadilla burger with French fries. Our Spinach Dip came out before we ever got our drinks. Would have been nice to have a saucer to eat the dip and chips from. When our meals were brought out… My Bourbon Street chicken and sausage over penne pasta was barely warm!!!! The breadstick was HOT! By the time I was halfway through eating, my meal was COLD and unappetizing!! My husband’s Quesadilla burger and fries were great! I was really looking forward to trying the new dish but was sadly disappointed when it arrived cold.

My waitress was very attentive to every table but mine. Tables that came 20 minutes after me got their food before she even took our order. She came to check on us after she dropped off the appetizer and completely forgot that she never took our order. She will be getting a tip but not much. I ended up just ordering my food to go. Second time I’ve had horrible service here, will not be back .

Upon entering we were greeted gracefully. Usually we do not go out to eat with big parties due to staff giving poor service. We came with 9 people and the service was great. Drinks stayed full, food came out in a timely manner and our waitress was great. recommend the 2 for 25 plenty of food to fill you up and take home

Took over an hour for the food to come for a party of 5. When it finally arrived it was poorly done and incorrect. 1 item sent back cause there was paper in the food.

Had lunch there on Sunday 9/21/25 my salad was good but it took the waitress 20 minutes after I sat to take my order then another 20 for the manager to bring it to the table… once I asked for the check it took nearly 20 minutes to be brought to my table and only after I told the hostess that I was walking out without paying since I could not wait any longer. They were NOT busy!

The server was so incredibly sweet and knowledgableg and helpful. The prices were unbelievable and the food was better than great!!! It was DELICIOUS!! our meals were brought to us within 15 minutes and our appetizer took less than 5!!!! We would go back tomorrow if it weren’t so far!! A very memorable meal!!!!!

Look… I don’t expect much from Applebee’s, after all it’s a chain restaurant that is just one step above fast food. But the food is usually good, consistent… and they are open late. Still… this location utterly fails. They close at 12am and we knew we were pushing it arriving at 11:15, but previously we arrived even later at a location near home; and they made us feel welcomed and unrushed. At this location the made last call at 11:40! WITH 35 CUSTOMERS IN THE HOUSE. Who does that? We managed to get another round ordered. The two drinks arrived with the check, no offer of dessert or even a question regarding any needs. Other high points include having to re-explain the order, none of the menu beer actually being available, filthy bathrooms, and the broom sweeping while we were trying to eat. This location needs to be bulldozed and restarted from the ground up. Then 10 minutes after close with other people still eating, they dimmed and turned up the lights… I’m not making this up.
