None of our party had been to Applebee’s in quite some time. We were very pleased with the attention we received the moment we walked in the door. Brian greeted us with a very friendly attitude and a smile got us seated quickly and told us Michael would be our server. He even took our drink order and took the time to make sure we received exactly what we ordered. Michael was also very pleasant and took time to listen to our orders (there was a large very loud group right by us). When our food was delivered it was right on point!!! Michael continued to check on us throughout our meal. We throughly enjoyed our food and will be going back!!! Thanks Brian and Michael for making our 1st time back an enjoyable experience!!!!

This visit was a prime example of a kitchen staff doing a great job, while the front-of-house service fell completely flat. The food earns a solid 4 stars, but the service gets 1 star.
Here is a quick breakdown of our chaotic experience:
Waited 5-6 minutes just to be greeted by the hostess.
Seated at a booth too tight to move in. We asked to move and were told to ‘pick wherever.’
Got shooed away from our second table choice by a server who didn’t want us in her section.
Waited 10 minutes at our third table for a server who promised to take our order and never returned.
It took nearly an hour just to finally place our food order.
Even after the manager apologized and our meals arrived, the service issues continued. We received our food but had no silverware, my blue cheese was completely forgotten, and my kids didn’t get a single drink refill until we were literally walking out the door. The manager did offer one complimentary dessert for our table of four, but even the wait time for that was painfully long.
I hope management reads this and addresses the service flow, because the cooks are doing a great job, but the waitstaff needs serious help.

I want to take a second to brag on the 2 managers who are currently working today. One is the kitchen manager and the other is the service manager from what I read on their name tags. The server me and my girlfriend had was double seated and had a party going on the managers were running around refilling drinks taking orders and making sure the server was supported. The managers did table checks and made sure everything was absolutely up to standard and that the food was cooked to perfection in my eyes. This was the best visit I’ve ever had at this location! The server was very attentive as well when the party finally did leave and things calmed down so kuddos to her as well. The D/O should be extremely proud of this group they kept smiles on their faces and the restaurant running smoothly during a unexpected peak time.

Years ago, I had an unpleasant experience and never went back. I’m so glad I gave it another try! The food was surprisingly amazing! We had 2 cheeseburgers and fries with boneless chicken wings as an appetizer for about $32 plus tax and tip. The burgers had that awesome grilled flavor, the best I’ve had dining out in this area. The service was super; we had a friendly, attentive waitress. We went a little after 3pm, so there were only 3 or 4 other tables of guests. We had a great experience and will be going back.

I had a party of 13 and the time we had to wait before being seated was fairly reasonable. The waitress was very friendly and knowledgeable of the menu and she even read our orders back to us to make sure that she had everything written down correctly before she placed it. We enjoyed conversing with one another and before we knew it our food was being served and let me tell you the food did not disappoint. Everything was good and hot and seasoned to perfection.

I don’t eat out much but my husband insists on taking me out for Valentine’s Day, I decided on Applebee in meridian. Bad choice, we sat there for an hour and a half and never got our food. I realize that people who came in well after us were getting their food. When I asked the waiter she said they were very busy, no that was not it I believe the she never put the order in. Bad experience

When I tell you this Whiskey Bacon Cheese Burger was delicious it was spectacular. I want to go back as I type this Wonderful Review. And you can sub the fries out for something else if you don’t want French Fries . The Restaurant was clean and so were the bathrooms. There was plenty of parking. Everything was delicious.
