Updated review: ordered car side to go tonight and all I can say is I don’t know what happened but what a mess! We got our food home to not only one of our meals destroyed but two because apparently they were too lazy to put lids on the dipping sauces! Which we know they had them seeing where one meal had a lid on the sauce. Needless to say our food was destroyed especially ny daughters as she ordered the trio sampler and her ranch and honey mustard was all over everything making it a hot mess and soggy! I will never order car side to go again and honestly after this experience it will be a long time if I even go back.
Our server Chris was absolutely amazing. Probably hands down the best service we ever received at this applebees. He was super friendly from the time he sat us to the time we left. Not only was he friendly but he gave great customer service making sure our drinks, food and everything was taking care of the whole time while providing great friendly conversation.

Unfortunately we did not have the best experience here. Our orders were taken twice and everything was also confirmed several times with the server. We ended up missing some items, and others were food we had not even ordered. The pretzels and chips were way over salted. When we asked for a new plate of chips, they were even worse.
Edited to add: We also paid for a to go order which we never ended up getting because they forgot!

Had the 2 for 25.
Wife had the Oriental Grilled Chicken Salad, always tasty. I had the Rib Tips w Fries. Rib Tips tasted pre-cooked. We shared the Spinach dip, which we enjoyed. The dip was served hot, the chips light.

We had a quality problem with our meal, however the store manager (I didnt catch his name but it was the evening of March 2nd) took swift care to ensure he not only fixed the problem, but ensure we left happy customers. Our waitress was attentive, informative and highly recommend her service. :).

The staff, food and prices here are phenomenal. Especially when you go during happy hour, like half off appetizers and drinks. This place keeps busy all hours of the night. We had their soft pretzels with honey mustard and beer cheese dip, followed by their most popular chicken wanton tacos. Their line of fruit lemonades are delicious. The place is clean and food is piping hot. We will be back for their St Patrick’s Day specials. We love it here.

My husbands meal arrived 15 minutes before mine. It was explained that there was a mix up with my order as I had asked for the Cajun sauce on the side. The manager was visiting tables to see how everything was, we told her we were still waiting for a meal, she said that she would check into it….we never saw her again. Once my meal arrived my husband was basically done his meal but ordered another beverage so that I could enjoy my meal. There was no offer of anything for the inconvenience. Doubt that we will go again no matter how good the food looks on the commercial.

The food was ok. I ordered the riblets and haven’t had them in a while. We used to go frequently and get them when they were all you can eat. They were so tender and juicy back then. These were so dry and tough I could barely get any meat off the bone. I also got the BBQ boneless chicken wings and they were a nice size, but also not as good as they used to be. I won’t complain about the price though because we ended up getting the 2/$25 and the guys got the $9.99 burgers. So value was good for our meals.

I’ve been a “regular “ here since relocating back to North Port 4 years ago. I love this place; Chris, Dennis, Rebecca, Russ & Rhonda have all been excellent hosts. Great service, great conversation, food is always good!! Mom just had the new OM cheeseburger and LOVED it.

Visited Applebee’s in North Port ,Fl. The service by David was perfect . The meal I had, Waffle fries, chicken , bacon , grilled onions and mushrooms , WAS NOT IT FOR ME . IT NEEDS TO BE DELETED OFF THE MENU . THATS IT THATS ALL .
