Super impressed with the quality of the food. Got the 2 for $25. Came with two entrees and an appetizer. We have the Asian boneless wings, Oriental chicken salad and fiesta chicken. Fantastic! Lots of TVs too which we appreciated.

Great! I had the Big classic bacon cheeseburger Real Deal and Ultimate trio. The burger was well cooked, loaded with bacon and tasted great. For the trio I went with the chicken quesadilla, boneless wings and wonton tacos. All were delicious and came with their own dipping sauces…I highly recommend the tacos! I ordered online and it was ready with a pleasant server when I arrived. I’ve eaten at multiple Applebee’s but this location was really good. Looking forward to going back!

I think my last review was deleted, so I’ll repost it. The food was cold..I guess the consistency in quality depends on the cook and time of day. The young bartender, Emily, does not make good drinks. They do not taste the way they should, are never the right color, and always taste watered down. Waste of money. The more experienced bartenders are always consistent. Train her better or get her away from the bar.

Management made up for a previous visit that was slightly problematic. Our lunch today was great. Manager Ley checked on us multiple times to make sure it was a good experience. Our server was also very helpful and attentive. The oriental chicken salad was great as usual. Tried the prime rib dipper for the first time which I would also recommend, very flavorful and great dipping sauce.
On another note, the half price apps are always good and so glad they brought it back after so many years .

Friday night, not busy. Waited at least 10 minutes for a table. While waiting out of all the people 1 server (bald dude) asked if we had been helped. Our Server was pretty slow I had to ask her for refills for my table as she had not bothered to ask if we needed anything. Our food arrived and then she asked if food was good. Also manager on duty asked everyone if their food was good, except us. If you read this you cannot say it was an oversight because we were very visible, and were sitting in the corner by the group of 6 females. My party was of 6 so we were pretty visible. Same bald dude from earlier, which later found put his name is Sean asked if we were good, not our server. Thank you for checking on us ! Our check was brought out and AGAIN had to ask for refills. Server didn’t bother to check up on us at all to see if we needed anything. However she did apologize for “being patient” on a night when it wasn’t even busy. We arrived here at 10:37 and it is now 11:52… not busy and service was just not as pleasant.

Leidy , Jessica, Kelly, Meghan were fabulous. Last year we brought 53 kids to eat dinner at the restaurant and they were so accommodating. So this year we came back with our school group and once again they were fantastic. They were totally accommodating to the teachers and to 41 middle school students! We can’t wait to come back next year in our trip to North Florida! Who goes to the staff and especially the managers of Applebee’s on Fruitville in Sarasota, Florida?

Went with some friends after church had their burger on their special two for $25. It was good. Onion rings, chips artichoke dip. Everything was excellent. Waitress was good on point. Highly recommend.

This was a first time visiting at the Sarasota location, on Fruitville Road. There was no waiting, we were immediately seated. The ambience were nice, the location touted a remodeling and renovation advertisement banners and an inflatable balloon on the roof of the building and around the exterior parking area.
After being seated the temperature of the seating area was uncomfortably cold. While waiting for our beverages our party requested to relocate to a different table away from an air-conditioning vent. After the food order was placed when the beverages were delivered to the table, we noticed two additional parties were relocated to new table locations in the dinning area.
The food arrived in a timely manner, the temperatures of the three entrées, were average the double crunch shrimp dish, Spicy Honeymustard Chicken sandwich and the Four Cheese Mac & Cheese with Honey Pepper Chicken Tenders.

Double Crunch Shrimp

Crispy battered shrimp are fried golden brown. Served with cocktail sauce and a lemon wedge. Served with signature coleslaw and fries.
The side of cocktail sauce was not as spicy as expected. The fries were substituted out for onion rings.
Four-Cheese Mac & Cheese with Honey Pepper Chicken Tenders (3)

A sweet and savory four-cheese penne mac & cheese topped with Applewood-smoked bacon and crispy chicken tenders (3) tossed in honey pepper sauce. Served with a signature breadstick. The same order was placed recently at a different Applebee’s location and additional pieces of were given (4) this time provided portion was lesser only 3.

NEW Spicy Honey Mustard Chicken Sandwich
Crispy, hand-breaded chicken breast topped with two strips of Applewood-smoked bacon on a Brioche bun with shredded lettuce, tomato, pickles and spicy honey mustard for the perfect amount of heat. Served with classic fries.
The lettuce, tomato and pickles were requested on the side. The chicken breast was larger then expected. Some was able to be trimmed with a knife and fork eaten separately from the sandwich itself.
The entrées were average portion sizes allowing for leftovers to be taken home some pasta and several of the shrimp. Also ordered was a Bahama Mama from the bar, Tasty and delicious. The servers are staff were accommodating the our questions and requests, although the temperature within the restaurant dinning area was uncomfortably cold, which causes the french fries to cool down faster than the entrée and sandwich. This location will be revisited by us if we are in the area, in the future. But our visit provided insights and ideas for ordering options when visiting the location closest to home.

I order an appetizer, while waiting for it to come out our food main food came out first. So I was already annoyed. So I told the server I didn’t even want the appetizer anymore, she took it off my bill. But in the mean time was talking badly with her co workers about my table. My kids food came out frist and the pizza my daughter ordered looked under cook, while my son’s chicken tenders looked over cooked. The plate my food came out on had blood on it from the stake I ordered. I ordered medium rare, but some parts came out well done. The only reason I didn’t make a bigger seen was because it was my birthday and my daughter we excited to go out for it. The manager never came around and asked how everything was. I use to love Applebee’s but I think this is the last time for me.
