The food and service at the Hillsborough ave. location is so horrible that I truly don’t understand how they are still in business. I’ve had remakes, I’ve been given food,and nothing absolutely nothing makes up for the disgusting food they last gave me. I accepted that possibly they just can’t make a burger so I ordered a qusadilla and only because its the only option I end up having when going here but because how can you screw up a quesadilla? Well I’ll tell you…it looked as if part of it came off of someone’s plate before put in my to go. Part of it was stained with guacamole that wasn’t even part of my order. There was pieces that were burned and some that looked as if they hadn’t even been cooked. There was one piece of chicken in most of the 5 pieces if tortilla they gave me. I am going so disappointed and disgusted with the service and food at this location that I went clear across town to the Carolwood location for a salad and not very impressed by it. They gave me half the size in the to go as they do when dinning in but still same price. I belive I am done with this food chain as all my friends have been for ages. I’m sorry but I tried to give it a fighting chance but now I see why no one I know goes here anymore.

I am a SUCKER for great advertising and Applebees had one about how they had their own “Triple Dipper Chili’s” type thing. Of course had to take my lovely lady and myself to try the Chili’s counterpart. To start, we got Spinach and Artichoke Dip which was honestly so middle level of good that it was scary what was coming next. Then, we had the Triple Dipper of Applebees which consisted of some tacos, quesadillas, and pickle fries; all middle level of good except the pickle fries which were slightly above the middle level of good. Finally, for the main, we tried the Ribeye medium rare with mash potatoes and fries. Very not tasty unfortunately. I wish they added some level of salt for the mash and for the steak it just needed some seasoning on it. Fries were fries but with too much salt. I WILL SAY, the drinks they had were absolutely delicious! The smoothie I had was amazing and I got an alcoholic beverage for the missus and she loved it as well! Surprisingly, if I ever go back to Applebees due to chilis being busy or destroyed, I’ll definitely only get the smoothie again.

I’m genuinely thrilled that Applebee’s brought back their classic Double Crunch Shrimp. It’s always been one of my favorite menu items, and I was disappointed when it disappeared for a while. The temporary replacement tasted more like tempura shrimp—light, airy, and just not the same satisfying crunch or flavor I loved.
Now that the original Double Crunch Shrimp is back, it’s exactly as delicious as I remembered. The texture, the seasoning, the whole experience feels right again. I’m really happy Applebee’s listened and returned this fan favorite to the menu!

I have to say, my experience with Rachel was one of the best! A super enthusiastic server who is very knowledgeable and friendly and makes you feel right at home. Her energy is unmatched and she works extremely hard. She understands the menu very well and knows all of the best deals and combos. A top-notch employee indeed!

I had such a great experience at Applebee’s thanks to our amazing server, Lizzie! We came here late at night with a big group of friends, and honestly, Lizzie made the whole experience amazing. She treated everyone so kindly and made us all feel welcome. She was incredibly friendly, attentive, and overall you can tell she cares about her guests. Super sweet, patient, and just had the best vibe!! Thank you Lizzie for your wonderful service, we will see you next time!
The ambience was actually really cool too, not usually my style but definitely a fun, chill place to hang out with friends and unwind. I also really like the deals they have here, worth the buck!

Hello I was dining the location of Sheldon and linebaugh.
1 the waiter forgot my appetizer ! Then tried to charge me for it.
2 everything was very slow even though the restaurant wasn’t packed at all.
3 I found the largest hair in my food. Here is the video my hair is in gel and braided so it’s definitely not my hair.
He was not attentive, I had to ask multiple times for a refill .The store manager never came up and asked if everything was OK and we paid full price
This is horrible customer service I never complain when I say never never but this is crazy they need to be wearing hair nets in the kitchen

We went for a quick lunch/ celebration for our Co worker’s birthday. There was only what looked like 2 employees our appetizers took really long, our drinks were not good. It could have been that it was under staffed this was a disappointing visit that took us over an hour for simple meals.

Came to the Sheldon location after waiting too long at another applebees. We were seated right away and server was at our table in less than a minute. Food was amazing. Definitely will come back here.

It took a while to be seated then after being seated, it took me getting up to leave before they came to acknowledge me at least 10 minutes. The food was OK. I think the best Applebee’s I’ve been to the one in Trinity. Food service atmosphere. Everything was great.
