Came here twice this past 2 weeks for date night with my husband. Prices were good. Food is good. Not too loud in restaurant. Waitresses are friendly. Didn’t have any issues eating here.

The service was okay could be a bit better. Food was okay when I got home to re heat it I found a blonde strand of hair in food highly suggest hair nets . We went here last night for our anniversary dinner & it was pretty good (we didnt say we were there for our anniversary. We were sat away from everyone, which was pretty nice & we had the manager serving us. That right there made me feel happy because that means he’s a good manager (not all places will they come out & help the servers). Food was good, my ONLY downside about it was the reason I chose applebees was to get the wonton chicken tacos & they had run out before we got there. As a server I know this happens, so I wasn’t mad at all, but man I wish I had some last night for our anniversary lol.

Took about 5 minutes to get greeted by server food came out was missing my shrimp and also got cold Mac and cheese saw the server 3 times was mainly in the back Server-Demarcus. I’m sure they had to ask the manager to remove my mac & cheese. The question is why was the manager never at my table to ask me how service was? Maybe the server is not the only problem

Food was dry, barely any sauce on pasta, chicken was not even cut. Ordered 2 ontrays & drink, and they all came out at later times(not together); wings on trio were cold. Waitress were forgetting what we ordered like they didn’t have pen & paper. It was a cluster!. Definitely need to do better, im *Forsure I wont be back, after 1st time being there.

I should have just left when nobody wanted to seat me!! They just kept walking in circles but nobody approached me. I stared one server down waiting for her to go to the back so I could exit, but she finally came to the front and asked could she help me. There was only one table occupied and several servers including a bartender present waiting for customers. After telling her I wanted to eat and set me at a table. I asked the server about the menu and she said the menu was new and she had not looked at it so she couldn’t answer any of my questions. Red flag number two. I ordered 2 for $25 to get my dinner for later. got my appetizer. The spinach and artichoke dip was nice and hot. But the chips were leftover from two days ago. As I kept calling for my waitress (by name, I might add) the server still sitting at the table kept looking at me but never went and got help. He just looked and stared as if I was showing Greek. I raised my voice to get my server to request and get fresh chips. I ate one, but a minute later my food was brought out. It freshly cooked and looked appealing, but I had no silverware to eat anything with. My water cup stayed empty until I asked for a cup to go. I’ve worked in the food service industry for ten years, but clearly I missed something. I wasn’t rude, only raised my voice because my everybody acted like they were hard of hearing, and despite all of this, I still tipped 20% because I know a server’s pay scale. Inwardly, I am still seething!! I will say that this is the second time I’ve been to this Applebee’s when they were not busy, the staffing was adequate, but the service was sub-mediocre. There won’t be a third. I guess the stereotype of black women being terrible tippers got the best of them. I’m smart enough to know that I won’t go where I’m not wanted or valued.

I came in twice and both times there was a definite lack of urgency. The hostess seated me right away both times. The first time it was about 15 min before someone was at the table to take my drink order, then it took longer than one would expect to get an iced tea. By the time my food arrived I only had time to eat about half of it before I had to go.
The second time was the same at first, but I had to leave before anyone came to take my drink order because I could tell it was going to take too long again.
I’d like to suggest that you send your employees to El Paso, TX for training. Those crews know customer service.

The server was the best part of the experience, she did bring me hand sanitizer to clean my hands after reaching down beside the booth to retrieve my phone that fell on the floor and had gotten some unknown substance all over my hand…. Place needs a good cleaning, one of our meals did not come out till the other 3 were almost done eating so it was taken home in a to go box and we were only 1/ maybe 6 tables in the entire restaurant so I would hate to see what it would be if the more patrons had been there.
