My family and I visited the Applebee’s in Monroe, GA yesterday, and the experience was extremely disappointing. The food quality was unacceptable. The burger was overcooked, dry, and lacked freshness. The fries were overly seasoned and excessively salty. (Photo attached.) There was no attention to plating or quality control it felt rushed and careless. My mother and I ordered the “Emerald Escape” drink special and were never informed that the featured shot was an additional $3. When I went to the bar to purchase it separately, the bartender refused to allow me to take it back to our table, insisting it had to be consumed at the bar. This was not explained upfront and felt unnecessarily rigid and unaccommodating. Upon arrival, the hostess was visibly on her phone and gave inconsistent wait times (45 minutes to an hour) to multiple guests standing nearby. It did not reflect professionalism or organization. Our waitress was inattentive. We requested a cup of water and never received it. We had to ask for silverware and eventually get up ourselves to retrieve straws from the bar. At no point did anyone check in to correct or improve the experience. Dining out should not feel like self-service. The lack of hospitality, communication, and quality control suggests larger management and training issues at this location.Very disappointing and not worth the visit.

Stopped in at Applebee’s and I was so disappointed. Service was mediocre, my buffalo wings were cold and food took forever considering there were only about eight people dining. At least the entrees were hot and the cocktails were good!

Our waitress Stevie was the best!! She was so kind, sweet, and on top of the service. We spent most of our evening laughing with her every time she came to our table. Planning to come back soon!! 🙂

From the burned sides to the undercooked (two attempts) plus morning old entrees and severely over priced menu items for their portion servings(ex. 3 broccoli florets with cheese) this kitchen will not be serving you fresh properly cooked meals making them not worth your time or money. You also will most definitely not get value from the level of service given by the waitress staff or management staff whom both lack customer service, people skills and general respect. Everyone needs to be retrained and some need to be fired. This location tends to only favor the fair complexions. Choose a much better dinner choice. Not family friendly as another table had to abruptly point out vocally to staff during my visit.

Had a Couple come in 10 minutes after me got there food ahead of me.
Bartender breezes by and says food will be out in a little while. After 30 minutes got up and walk out. Wasn’t busy only about 20 people in restaurant, everyone had eaten except for one couple that came in at the bar was only one had not gotten food..
Called manager after I left. Excuse was kitchen messed up a lot of orders she had to go in and fix it. Not a big deal to her

waiter was amazing, she kept checking up on us but not too much that it got annoying. food was amazing and perfect. the place was very clean and people here are very kind to eachother.

Steven was our phenomenal server. He was attentive and quickly corrected issues that came out of the kitchen. My steak was way overcooked but I shouldn’t have ordered steak at an Applebees! The fried pickles app was phenomenal . I cant say enough good things about our server!!!! If you go to this applebees, ask for Steven!!!

When we arrived at Applebee’s on December 30th there was no one to greet us. Many tables still had not been cleared off. We sat ourselves and there was only one other table occupied. We sat there and no one came to take our order my daughter looked around and found menus so we still waited to even be acknowledged that we were there. 10 minutes later we got up and left and there was still no one there too take our order. There was finally one girl that came out and cleared one table while we were sitting there. Will never go back.

So I thought on a Friday night that things would be lively. This was opposite day her I guess. My server was acting as if she couldn’t see we were done, but could always notice new people coming in. I was going to give her a great tip, instead, kept it minimum and decided I will not be going back. Got to teach these people one way or another that yes we notice when you are indifferent towards us and always will.
